I never did like the quake series, it reminded me of the very worst of script kiddies and a.d.d. patients all packed into the same multiplayer game.

Then I watch the quake wars trailer today, what do I see? Shock Paddles from BF2.

How original.

I’ll pass on QW, I’ve yet to see anything redeeming in it.

If Quake wars lives up to the hype, then quake wars it is.

I’m fed up with EA these days like many other people. Dice has given us BF 2 with fantastic game play that simply hasn’t been surpassed. There is simply nothing out there at present to rival BF 2.

If, and I mean if quake wars offers the same kind of game play. With free content patches and regular updates and ID listen to there customers rather than charge for update patches called booster packs, then QUAKE WARS it is for me and goodbye and good riddance to EA

Seems this guy doesn’t know W:ET.

What’s allso funny is that there are quite some guys writing ET:QW wrong.

Still, there are at least some people with a sane mind in there. I’m not going to comment on them as their posts are just good.

Ive registered too, had to make a nice advertising post for BF2 junks to come to W:ET and see what a real FPS game is

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but stay correct. If you start a comparison, you should make sure that it’s as unbiased as possible even if that’s hard to do.

Kamikazee, i did play W:ET a LOT but i just got tired of the same maps over and over… i can do Fuel Dump blind folded. and nowadays there are to many cheaters so i just lost my ET appetite.

I have done a lot of BF2 (still playing it atm) and i think i can be fair and still burn it to the ground with very good arguments

I dont have much problems with cheaters. Since patch 2.60 and the anti hack software from etpro i dont havent seen much cheaters on. ETpro+PB is 99.9% hack free.

I second that. And I must add that there are lots of quality maps made by the community.

I third that. Also there are plenty of good servers that run custom maps only and there is a huge catalogue of maps to choose from.
