Even though I think BF2 can be a fun game but with a lot of drawbacks and annoyances, what I can say is that DICE always accommodats press inquiries and that can only mean free publicity.

I think you didn’t play bf2 with the patch 1.01 or something… first it ran fine with version 1.0 and with 30fps but when i installed a newer patch the game became bugier ofcourse in update 1.2 it was almost over but it still is bugier then with version 1.0

if they update the gameplay no doubt it will have a nod to ET like features. Like lots of games have done 
Its not that ET was the first Objective based MP, its just the best!

Actually, The video thats on youtube, is a fake, a hoax, its not bf, its actually the intro movie to an old psx game, time cop, or future cop something like that. I am sure the scans in the mag’s are part of their april fools joke as well.

There’s also no real sense of how any of the weapons are zeroed. Perhaps I am the only one who gets a bug up his ass about this, but what the hell are the guns in BF2 zeroed at? 100 yards? 300 yards? I have no idea how to adjust my shots at longer ranges because I have no idea how the round will behave. Is it arcing? Is it a laser? Why didn’t I hit that guy? Is it lag. etc, etc
Its all about BUYING Special Forces 
The weapons in that expension pack are WAY more accurate then the standard or upgraded weapons in BF2.
Its a marketing trick of EA…give us more money and you will get better weapons…
I truly hope that BF2 is the last game i ever bought from EA… i am scared as hell that they buy a company like SD :S

um the walker do look future cop LAPD but thats not a hoax and not the into from it. since that game toop place in crime ruled LA and in that vid it was frozen over

i dont think SD would sell up. Its been mentioned that the emplyees could go back to there old jobs and probably make more money so lets hope there in it for the love. Id hate to see ET put SD to making the next BF although they would proabably do a much better job

the bf2142 is looking so like a mod that i think we should all start a bf2 mod team and finish a mod of there intended game before they can get the offical one onto the shelves
how about survial gameplay. the forum nuts have to defend the SD building from EA representatives trying to buy the palce out with and the game ends when the SD people inside have finished making QW

The weapons have no indication what kind of zero they have in that game either
The zero has nothing to do with accuracy, but how you adjust to hit a target that’s at different distances. Most games just make the bullets move like alsers or if they do factor for gravity, they don’t properly factor for point of aim and point of impact at different ranges.
Joint Ops did this for their sniper rifles, but even they cheated a lot of those rules.

random cone of fire, what helped killing that game, its all about spray´n´praying or go on “splash melee” weapon like grenadelauncher and c4 tossing
every patch brought new bugs, starting with the minimap self-zooming while hitting ladder or entering vehicles, and recently they brought a bug in a new patch which makes ur eryx/sraw to instantly reload

Command & Conquer Generals sucked more ass then an tapir taking a shit then eatin it.

C&C was the coolest game in it’s time nice single player,great on LAN, waste of space on internet due too cheaters. My son was ranked #1 and won lots of cool prizes cos he was the best cheat of them all.

Exept to win you go chinese and build half a dozen goliath tanks, fit two of them with propaganda towers and the other four with miniguns. Bloody unstoppable. Too easy to pwn imo

or jsut a race to build as many nukes are you can then without any real tatic or skill just lay waste to there pase and send a few units in to clear up. Althout i gota say the aura bombers can be pretty effective at taking out nuke bunkers although its somewhat a suicide run
