it seems the magic number for fps for pro players is 300, as long ill get more than 300 im good, here is the card link just click on the spec tabs to see more info
http://www.microcenter.com/product/373502/01G-P3-1466-KR_NVIDIA_GeForce_GTX_560_DS_SSC_1024MB_GDDR5_PCIe_20_x16_Video_Card

my rig can only handle 2.0 by x16 cards an i want only nvida so i can use the threader renderer command, an no i dont want a gtx 480, my rig can take it (no homo), but i cant cool the card, so tell me wat u think about the card an thanks for the advice

There is no “magic fps number” like in ET for example. The more fps the better.
Your second sentence doesn’t make that much sense. Like I said, I recommend the GTX660 or even the GTX660 Ti to you.

(cloudhalo) #43

the second statement was if someone wanted to look at other vid cards and reccommend them to me since my options r limited and i want power an i cant get 3.0 x16 cards, but ty for advice,

(Dthy) #44

Don’t mean to brag too you guys with your punny 500 stuff, but I have a 660 Ti and I’m home.

PCIe is backwards compatible so you can put a 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot and it will still work. I doubt most games could bottleneck the bus.
Getting nvidia only makes sense if you play OpenGL games, which are a dying breed. AMD OpenGL drivers have been unfixed since 2007, but for most games, their bang for the buck is waay better. I just got a HD7950 Windoforce3 for 240€ and i doubt i will regret this decision.

If you want to be a pro gamer, getting a decent CPU is much more important. Hickups mostly occur due to either slow HDD or CPU bottleneck. A bad GPU will only give you low fps, but when other things are fine, it should be a stable low. Nobody runs anything over lowest graphics anyway.

(cloudhalo) #46

hey murka wat is the fastest time u heard of that someone can empty the sniper rifle clip using the glitch? i heard 5 seconds which seems impossible.

However if he plays in a high resolution then he might need a decent GPU anyway.
But you’ve right, I didn’t realised this mistake with my current build since i am getting a high frame rate, but it isn’t as stable as i want it, and i definitely don’t want to cap the fps with the timingmethod cvar.
hm, also im wondering, ssd’s is it worth buying now? will there be a big difference in perf when my primary pc usage is gaming?

Why do u need a high and stable fps? Your bot is doing all ze work anyways …

I also don’t think your aimbot needs a stable fps rate, because all the calculation from your program isn’t dependent on the fps from the client or the server.

I don’t use such a program

Obviously not

since we r on the cfg topic, i was on a forum PV(former crypt) to be exact, and i read a post that said how certain players tweaked their cfg so good that when they use the gpmg or hyperblaster its accuracy is like a pistol or the sniper rfile. as u can see i want to do this but dont know how, so if anyone can tell me how to reduce my spread or what cfg commands i need to apply so the spread is lowered. and please dont say its not possible because i know it is due to the forums credibility and the players who have done it because ive played with them and it makes sense to think they tweaked something to reduce spread or recoil which is exactly what the guy on the forum posted, I believe he called himself Sen. i know some pro players fire in burst to increase accuracy but this is not like that, this is more advantageous.

(Dthy) #55

And just like that, I’m glad this game is dying since some people are so thick to believe such a thing exists. And worse that some people want such a thing to exist.

hurry with DB SD pls.

(cloudhalo) #56

hey its not that i want or dont want it, u need to realize im new and if i read something thats advantageous on a forum obviously it human nature to find out more about it, u should not jump too conclusion whether i want it too exist or not im just tryin to find out more info on something i dont understand, and my intial thought was maybe this cfg command every pro/good players knows it. thats y i came here. im not lookin to hack or cheat if thats what ur thinking

Not me. Sh
ifty kills pretty quick and no one is calling him out for it. I think it’s all bull**** personally. Sin is mad good at vehicles and never a quip. Mike and a whole bunch of people tweak their CVARs to the point the GPMG shoots like a pistol with sniper accuracy.

My advice is to either ban the guy or kill him quick in game. Either way I don’t want people to complain about this stuff- I just see is as part of the game.[/B]

this is the post, an this guy is pretty darn good he is clean 2 no cheats/hacks

Just for old lolz

Back to topic: Cfg wont give you something special in aiming, until its is an aimbot, this thing just for twerak graphics/net_settings and nothing more. Imo

(Rex) #60

I keep it short this time: As already said a config can’t do this!
The “good” player who said this was a random noob with no clue of the game at all. So stop reading around in forums of pub or funclans or you will always come up with such stupid theories. At least you came to the forum here to ask about it.

And what would be skillful about editing a cfg file? You won’t get better with “magic tricks”, you just do by practise.

(Dthy) #61

Pretty sure if there was a cvar for it, it would be the last line in RELOAd’s cfg…
