I decided to buy an xbox 360 instead of going for the more expensive upgrade of a new computer. Does anyone know if there is a chance of ET coming out for the 360? If it is not in the plans then I will resort to begging splash damage to release their BF2 killer on the 360 console. If you do I will never look at BF2 again. :???:

There is a great chance of a Xbox360 version. Some mags say it will be there, but nothing is been announced about a X360 version.

BTW who teh hell vote for BF2?

NO, PLEASE DON’T!!! i’ve just downloaded the GRAW demo from the marketplace: several bugs so i couldn’t join a game for a while. after 10 minutes i got into a server and what was? i couldn’t even spectate, i had to wait until the round finished. 4 minutes!!! i thought i’d try. then after 4 minutes everoyne was ready except the server admin. what happened? he shut the server down. another 5 minutes to find a server. then i could luckily join, experienced what a crap the control with a gamepad is and quit the game.

then i downloaded the BF2 demo from the marketplace and man this sucks - in all ways, even in high definition. i won’t play a first person shooter anymore on a console, you can’t even turn around when someone shoots at you. besides BF2 is sniper heaven. you walk and bang, you’re dead. and movement sucks in BF2 on the 360.

everyone should at least try and get this experience once … playing 1st person shooters on consoles sucks, it sucks so much that there are no words that could describe it.

TBh, when RtCW2 was ‘leaked’, the only platform it was leaked for was the new Xbox - no mention of PC. I don’t see any big problem for QW bein released for the same console, seein as it (may be?) the same engine… (PC vs console FPS gaming is a WHOLE other argument (already won by PC!!)

Usually I am wrong, nate_6009, so never listen to anythin I say!! :slight_smile:

I’m too lazy to dig up the link, but the last official statement I remember is that ET:QW is being developed for the PC, but nextgen console ports have not been ruled out.

For myself, I can’t imagine wanting to play a relatively complex shooter on a console :weird:
