Any one knows a fast online cheap ass ET gameserver ???

Hi all,

I’m looking for a nice fast gameserver cause i need one for my clan. I want to have it public and or private.
And fast not laggy.
Someone can help me?

2$ per slot is cheap, but I would have checked more offers.

What u mean advertising stunt? I just bought the server but i have to wait cause they are setting it up. I bought the 60 slots… for 110 us dollar…

It would take most people more than 5 minutes just to check the page, order the server and post back here. Some of us find it hard to believe that you didn’t spend at least 5 more minutes thinking about it before deciding to shell out $110 per month (especially considering the complete lack of information on their web page)… :wink:

There’s no information about server hardware or bandwidth, it’s apparently a completely new company, and neither of you have any history in these forums. So yes, it does look like an advertising stunt.

SD have allowed ET related advertising in here before, so posting a real ad would have been a lot more honest.

I agree with you there, but it isnt an advertisement stunt, i talked to the sales before, they have a live support.
I talked to there support and asked about that information they talked to me and said: Sorry for that lag of information, its cause our website is still in development. We only want to let customers see the prices so they know we are cheap. I asked them about the servers specs and they gave me this:
-AMD Sempron 2400
-512MB RAM
-80GB HDD 7200 RPM
-100 mbit
The et servers are running on redhat linux.

They will soon put that info on the site too, cause they already have 27 customers, and wanted to test the site and see how customers react about the site.
They are still working on my server they said, i also test there test server and it gave me a 30 ms ping so i like them…

the smell of lies. As Sauron said, it would of been alot better to post an honest ad, and you know so much about them already and you only heard of them 5 minutes.

Well since this is a open forum people may say what they want, i just talked to redeye servers customer support by using ther chat buttong again. And they dont like this topic, cause 2 guys put that name down, they want u 2 to take a server there and see the stuff your selve.And then talk again :).

If u guys where smart… u can see that i didnt advertise, cause i didnt maked 2 acccounts!!! I just registered here once cause im new on this. And asked for a good game server. U can see lostnodeX is a salesmanager of redeyeservers, u can see that by staff and if u click on his profile on here he rigistered --> Jun 11, 2005. So dont swear :).

This is like watching a trainwreck. I bet there is someone over at Redeyeservers going “Oh fiddlesticks, that did not go as planned” right now. There’s an old proverb that goes “Deceit is in haste, but honesty can wait a fair leisure”. Might want to think about that one for a few moments, eh? It’s never a good idea to attempt to “pull a fast one” (pardon the pun) on your customers.
