Rjsto, my problem is the skill ceiling is still very very low. If you’re good at the game you’ll do way more damage with another merc. I’d like the katana to be harder to use, it’s as simple as that. But on a technical POV it’s not that simple. And with the Phantom haters being very vocal SD was forced to update him massively ASAP. Don’t make me laugh. I left my discussion, and everyone was open to it. Most of my response was due to man-childs and disrespectful comments and insults like yours. I just added my opinion + the insult right back. The problem is, you kids think it’s okay to start provoking, and making some sort of disrespectful logic on a discussion, and try to shun the OP. But when the OP, shun your disrespect with his logic, you get salty, and start redirecting the “salt” as if it was the OP to begin with. Didn’t your mom teach you not to mess with fire? You’ll get burn right back.

On the contrary, if you do want a discussion and an opinion on the matter, I am open, was to begin with. But lets leave the disrespectful tone, the provoking insults, the ego dominance, and the “I’M MORE PRO THAN YOU, YOU DON’T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME,” out of it. Dear Harry Potter, please forgive me, if I doubted your insight and wisdom on why Phantom SUCK so horribly right now. Because, you know, you’ve tested it out the new changes for 10 hours, and actually made a good assessment without crying. Even though, the patch only happened 3 hours ago.

Oh god. If you feel like I am playing the victim, you can freely feel that way, bitter man. But since you lack understanding and reading concepts like most of the folks on this forum who has some sort of man-child issue. Let me quote my previous post to this thread,

that they can’t just run and insta-kill 3 people in the same room. as far as i can tell, the phantom nerf was actually pretty good. it puts him in a more counter active playing style, instead of just running around and mindlessly slicing everyone and winning. at least now, you have to play cautiously like every other merc. unless you’re Rhino. because Rhino doesn’t care and does what he wants and win.

seriously though… Rhino is like a walking deployable turret that have armor/health, and can jump/run.

Now please, in the above post, what part of it was me insulting, disrespecting, or “intentionally” point as a laugh thread to Phantom players? Was it because of the title? If that is the case, then you should try learning to read the concept of the thread, rather than, leaning entirely on a title that can lead to false conceptions.

But please, by all means, if you don’t like it, leave. But you don’t, because you have some sort of man-child issue, like the rest of these little kids. But leave the discussion to people who actually have a oriented style of play, and actually understand where I am coming from on this topic. Have a nice day.

The only issue I’m personally seeing here with the nerf is that with the now universal turn-rate slow while attacking with melee it makes the Katana an unviable weapon in most cases unlike how it used to be. That’s the only part that presents an issue, I can still use my cloak for flanking just fine but then again I play relatively low level ‘casual’ games.

I’m sorry, you have a wrong conception of the idea of what, “All of the Phantom players are frustrated,” stem from. Let me correct you in the matter. It stem from the constant spam post on the front page of, “Why Phantom nerfed? He’s so useless, WHY THE MELEE CHANGE? PHANTOM CAN’T KILL NOW!” The title doesn’t lead to an insult to Phantom players, it just means they are frustrated at the changes. Do you know what frustration means? Did you read the body of the post before making your ridiculous accusation on the matter? No, you didn’t.

Let me correct you on one more matter. I’m responding the SAME matter, the way these man-child are responding to me. To every quote they have a disgusting comment put in, I put one right back in it. To everyone who didn’t, and had a legit discussion, I had a decent conversation with. But it seems that the matter is simple, these man-child can’t stop with their disgusting comments, and negative connotations to a matter without having a decent discussion.
