Xt as it is is bringing nothing new to the table really, and what it could have brought that was new and unique to its style, something you don’t find anywhere else, they’ve decided to leave out. I’m just glad it’s a small minority that appear to be against it for superficial reasons and nothing else.
I’ll be ecstatic when the mish mash of tactical shooters dies a horrible death and people once again start not giving a crap that a skeleton with no bones can strafe at 100mph while carrying 10 weapons in it’s non-existent pockets and bleeds when shot
The one time you say, XT brings nothing new to the table, the next time you say everything was better in the good old days when nobody cared about realism*. That kinda contradicts itself, yet I share part of your opinion.
Yup, XT is not very unique at the moment, in terms of its gameplay, I think that’s really something most would agree with, but pimping the game with such old fashioned stuff, idk. But please suggest it, do it. I said it and I’ll say it again, everything I’ve said is not necessarilly right, or wrong and the same goes for people who don’t share my opinion. It’s not like we’d actually decide what’s ending up in the game, right? And it doesn’t matter if I was hardcore into ET:QW, or W:ET, or not, since in the end the only thing that will keep players tied to a specific game, or not is mostly based on their subjective gut-feel, if that is objectively reasonable, or not doesn’t matter. When I say I loved AvP3 multiplayer, you can tell me all day, that I’m king-noob for only mentioning it, but I will still have loved it. Nothing is more democratic than the purchase of a videogame, ESPECIALLY when there are so many for free.
*Is XT now new, but in a bad way, or what? I mean you want new unique stuff, but you say the stuff from the past did it best? What now?
