accused of cheating...wrongly
I dunno dude, sounds to me like, regardless of the whole cheating, spamming, whatever crap, that that server admin does seem to have a big head about things. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS ON MY SERVER BECAUSE YOU DONT PAY FOR IT. IT’S A DICTATORSHIP SO SCREW YOU! Whatever. If its the same server I think it is, I played there a few times a while back, and basically QUIT playing there for a number of reasons. As someone mentioned earlier, you have to download these enormous godawfully huge mappacks. And once you finally get onto the server to play, many hours later, your ping is spikin all over the place, theres friggin like 50 PEOPLE in the game! I don’t think the game can support 50 players, let alone the server. I don’t ping like that on 90% of the other servers I’ve played on. It’s not really a fun place to play ET in my opinion, but to each his own. Oh and yeah, shitstorm is pretty good. Good server to play on most of the time, and almost always comes up at the top of my refresh list for speed.
Just caught this last week, Login, Sorry you were unjustly accused and tried. I leave for ~2 months and come back and the other good chigc admins have quit, only leaving mainly new players( they are Pro’s- ask them). And Just with you login, they have tried and hung another person with No Proof- just a few month old player yelling cheat is the only thing they need. No other proof. Just some idiot - he shot me, so he must cheat mentality. Been there with Q2- wrecked the game.

I dont understand aimbot. The times i have seen it, the person has been kicked before almost anyone in the server realizes it. I’ve never had any real first hand expierience with it. I can average about a 35-45% accuracy with smg, and iv only been accused of cheating maybe 4 times. So im guessing aimbot must gove you a 60% accuracy or higher.
I must say… if i got accused of cheating and even banned from my favorite server… wrongly…and without any concrete evidence… i would be pissed…i just think you guys took it down the wrong path from the start?.. chill dudes…

I really think these guys have issues…
After watching that demo, I see no evidence of any cheating whatsoever. In response to the one point the admins were messaging each other about in the demo where he throws a grenade where an allied engineer was behind the hill from him, the very first time i watched the demo (I watched it twice, first with shownormals 0, then with shownormals 1), I clearly heard thompson fire behind the hill before he ever even switched to the grenade.
The only thing this guy is guilty of, is having good aim and either a good sound system or wearing headphones. If this demo alone is the evidence for which he was banned, it’s a bullshit ban.
I can’t see any cheating in this demo too. Sometimes its just luck when you throw nades into nowhere (because you know the enemy is probably there) and hit someone. Or you go another way as before and run into a camper (“OMFG - how did you know I was there?”).
Noone here that gets a little happy when someone accuses you? I like it since its the best proof that you got a nice aim.
And there are so many servers out there. Yoy whont be kicked from the best servers since the players are more experianced there and its those servers that are most worth playing.

Lol, this is a combination of a mid good aimer with mid good movement-knowledge and small children complaing when they gets killed… mixed with admins that are running a 50-player shrub-server.
If that guy is cheating Id like to see some players that I respect joing the server for a map.
Good thing this guy isn’t working for the gov’t. I still think democracy should play a great deal in america. Someone’s blood paid for this soil so that you can live in freedom. Just look at the games your playing, axis vs allied. Stop being a Nazi and let people play - and be free. I get bounced off servers all the time for stupid administrative regulations. I think of it like this - let the game be played as the original designers intended it. People play games to get away from bossy people. Punkbuster is there for a reason, admins should be there to make sure that their server is up. If admins listened to all the complaints that people gave out there’d be no flamethrowers, panzerfausts, stens…or covt ops. We’d be playing on a server with people with large fluffy mittens to slap each other with. If the server admins on todays servers were admins during the quake 1 days there’d be no rocket jumping…that’s illegal etc.
