It is a very good game and have a many people play it in china.
but ,how can i know who is cheater?
I see one man hitrate is high to 48% 49%,the lowest once is 43%?
We are no newbie,play ET about one year ,but when the best man in our team encouter he ,is over in 3-4 sec…

uhm 43% can be pretty normal… Since i usually get the same acc, mostly even higher…
Just spec him and make a demo, if he makes unbelievable shots… for example on railgun < he shoots through the fog without seeing anyone and he makes headshots> , then he is a cheater…
do not forget that et is based on another game that has been out for almost 3 years now, most good players in et played that and they have way more experience than you if you only play et for 1 year…
just because somebody is better doesnt me he cheats! 
the new etpro will also have some sort of win32 scanning system to detect cheats in addition to pb
lol I love those shots on railgun, when the cheaters who don’t care if they are being obvious pull off a shot across the map and you spec them and they are just looking at fog it cracks me up XD

yes yes ,but I play RTCW about 2 years yet . so I think ,if appear highhand ,than ,no only one ,maybe appear a group…
who can say "I’am the bestest in this game. " otherwise who can alway keep his status in highest? so i believe cheat is exist.

to be honest with you cheaters don’t really bother me that much as i know that they are crappy players that cant shoot to save themselves, hence thats why they cheat :bored:
also if someone needs to cheat so they can be at the top of the xp table and have all the awards, i find that very sad we should pitty these ppl and not hate them 
and when i play et i always make sure the server has PB enabled or it’s just a no no
because if punkbuster is not enabled its almost a guarantee that they will be cheaters on it
but what really makes my blood boil is when you shoot someone in the head and kill them or your accuracy is like 40% 50% and they shout cheater, i would never call anyone a cheat unless i was 100% sure of it

prove it - might just be that with PB off, ppl with shit connections still get a game.
I suggest taking pb screenshots and demos of the people who you suspect of cheating. In most cases you can’t tell by accuracy alone. Depending on the situation 40%-50% with an SMG is certainly possible.
Enable punkbuster, of course. It doesn’t stop every cheat, but it does help.

When we accidently disabled pb on our headshot server, there was an obvious aimbot user on within 24 hours. That doesn’t mean that every non-pb enabled server has cheaters on it, but there are a lot of cheats available if you don’t care about pb detection.
FWIW Obvious aimbot = 90%+ headshot acc against good players. Most players get less than 5%.
if punkbuster is not enabled its “ALMOST” a guarantee that they will be cheaters on it
trust me mate i am a server admin, i see alot of people trying to connect to my server with aimbots wallhacks etc etc, thats with punkbuster enabled god knows what it would be like if it was disabled

plus if you do manage to get your hand’s on a cheat, you will find yourslef banned from a lot of server as myself and a lot of other admins do is share their banned list, :bump:

My own personal observations of non-PB enabled servers on both RtCW & ET;
a) the standard of play is much lower than that of recognised servers with PB enabled by default (generally)
b) those that do cheat need the advantage because their aim and general play isn’t good enough to take me on in a straight 1v1
The view I take on PB is that whilst it’s a must for clan servers and competitive matches by keeping old cheats off the scene, there are probably a lot of ppl who would never be good enough to take most SD’s forum ppl on in a 1v1 and have any chance of winning if they didn’t use a cheat - that’s a backhanded compliment imo. As for cheating whilst clanned or in a league game, well they deserve to be banned - that really is cheating and using the advantage to gain unwarranted kudos whilst deceiving others - ban ban ban.
I remember the day I found out about cheats in Doom - IDKFA (?) - ruined the game tbh. For RtCW or ET I couldn’t play on a server knowing I was cheating and take any pleasure from it - my guess is that most ppl who have used a cheat would take the same view. The cheater thing always seems to provoke extreme reactions from others - get a grip, you’ll be accusing them of terrorism next 
Seems to me that alot of you nned to work on your aim. Those shots on Railgun are what IMO are lotto shots … Anyone whos play the game will have a good idea when there will be allies coming up from the back of the railgun and they will let some lead fly and if it so happens that they get a headshot well so be it…
And now with the new ETPro with the hotsounds enabled, can you imagine now the whiners that will be crying cheat! when you get a headshot on them and they cant see you due to the fact that thier screen is dark…
It is going to be quite interesting now I personally like the hitsounds bieng enabled that will help alot of people with thier aim along with building confidence with it and also help them know where the hitbox is for the headshots…
Lat but not least please do not mistake skill for cheating it will only make the accuser look like a noob ass when he cant prove it…
Maybe we should consider ‘cheaters’ as a new type of class in ET? Seems to me you need to be very accurate and have high battlesense to beat them - now imagine how smug and self-satisfied you can allow yourself to be once you are the better of aimbotters and walhackers?
