Yep, I love the game and I don’t bitch about anything except XP and occassionally Covert-Ops (cos they’re easiest Class to XP whore).
Personally I’m not too fond of Panzers cos I think a lot of people do use them to get cheap kills. Rifle 'nades piss me off sometimes cos they enable the user to get quick revenge on whoever kills them (you get shot, knee-jerk reaction to pull the trigger and your assailant gets a Rifle 'nade in the face as you die). I’m also seeing Mortars being used more effectively and becoming a right pain in the backside.
But I don’t bitch about any of these things cos part of the fun is devising strategies to deal with them. The diversity of Classes and weapons is what makes ET such a unique and wonderful game.
But none of this applies to the games scoring system. It should be just that, a scoring system, which you can ignore or not as you see fit, as is the case in almost every other game you could mention. It shouldn’t have an impact on the game, like giving some players 35% more accurate weapons, or flak jackets to make them almost invincible, or 50% more health than anyone else, etc., just cos they’ve been on the server longer or have performed functions that were not necessarily in the best interests of their team.
So, don’t link those who bitch about XP (like me) with those that bitch about this Class or that weapon. I’m not trying to change anything about the game, just it’s scoring system.
