I started playing dirty bomb 3 days ago, been playing at least 2-3 hours everyday, got to level 10 within no time.
I only came to this forum just to say that I officially quit this game after I saw the joke of Phantom.
I bet those people defending it didn’t play against a good phantom ingame.
Basically phantom is going invisible to enemy spawn to sit there, even today a phantom was sitting with his invis powers on the C4.
This is just a joke. The game was fun. But according to my experience with nexon games, they always TURN sh*t.
good bye.
Everyone here should give respect to that post. He just expressed the biggest problem with this merc right now. No matter your opinion about phantom, this is what all players who started this week will think. And Nexon’s reputation clearly does not help indeed.
And here are the good old threads we already had about Fragger back in the days. I played a good 4 hours yesterday with mates who directly bought him. In no time, we just noticed one obvious thing : They were able to be at the top of the scoreboard with ludicrous kdr effortlessly. Sometimes more than twice the score of any other player. Even with people (including me) who got a grip of what can pull Phantom out of his comfort zone. For me, that’s a good proof of a merc superiority. It was the same about fragger before his nerf. A medium level player (compared to the rest of the server) was able to do just right the same.
As the OP said, there are major flaws with this merc right now which should have been detected during proper play testing. Katana is absolutely not following neither its animation nor its supposed range. Right now, it has more in common with a fishing rod than any sword which possibly existed. Thus making him a complete god on close range.
Quality melee hit. And Bomba was way higher from my client side…
Personnally, I’d like to add that a melee god is preposterous. If there was something where all the merc already released before this patch were on par, melee was definitely it. I always played melee weapons a lot and use it quite frequently even in serious situation (ty chivalry). Now it’s all finished. No, we can’t use melee wisely if there is a phantom in the enemy team.
