I only mentioned the shield because thats the only part of his kit that i feel is broken. I didn’t explain that well yes. Take out the shield, leave everything else. Thematically it doesn’t fit, that’s an extremely loose argument that doesn’t bring much to the table. Gameplay wise, why does a merc with a relatively high health pool that is designed around being melee focused and being able to position himself better than his opponents need a shield on top of it. What’s the point? Invis is there to allow someone to outmaneuver his opponents in a way that wasn’t previously available. With a shield on top of cloak, there’s zero risk. There’s no need to think about when to cloak because your going to be protected even if you do it at a poor time. There’s no reason to use the cloak to sneak around and get in close to either melee or ambush someone when you can just cloak and walk straight at him without worrying that you’re going to be out aimed. Having the shield is just having your hand held.

Hmm maybe its a graphical settings thing but i dont find his cloak to be anywhere near to invisible its very distinct and easy to spot. or maybe its my speakers and i can hear the footfalls , but if he didnt have the shield he would never get anywhere near and as for zero risk , it seems more like certain death to me , his attacks are nearly always suicidal , even if he gets me as medic he wont get the other 2 or 3 im supporting. and he needs to take the time to finish me or they just get me up after hes dead.

there needs to be time to adjust, when you run to a into the terminal to blow up the last two objectives you didnt used to look for proxy mines, but i bet you do now. we all learned or are learning to recognise the whirr of rhino’s spinning barrels the and the beep of bushwackers turret.

right now no ones used to the sound or sight of his cloak and that will change fast. from my experience tonight i think hes strong but no worse than nader /fragger /rhino , but its certainly too early to be calling OP.

I hate to agree, but I do 100%, especially on the play testing and revenue generation. I’ve put 68hrs into this game, 51 in the last two weeks, which is about all I’ll be investing if he’s left in game as he is now. Absolutely ridiculous…

I started playing dirty bomb 3 days ago, been playing at least 2-3 hours everyday, got to level 10 within no time.

I only came to this forum just to say that I officially quit this game after I saw the joke of Phantom.

I bet those people defending it didn’t play against a good phantom ingame.

Basically phantom is going invisible to enemy spawn to sit there, even today a phantom was sitting with his invis powers on the C4.

This is just a joke. The game was fun. But according to my experience with nexon games, they always TURN sh*t.

I’m not sure that I understand your complain. You are complaining that the other player was good? Or you are complaining about spawn camping (which can sadly be done with every mercs)? I’m not sure of what you are complaining.
