Your Favorite gaming PC

Custom. Greater power and better price, AND you get what you want, and no crappy junk.

You want to build yourself a female life companion because it’s better than buying someone elses? :tapir:[/quote]
A lot of cultures still practice arranged marriages. While these have been known to work out just fine in many cases, the RMA policies have a reputation even worse than those of Compaq and Gateway.

Apparantly they’ve had some other high performance PC manufacturers (who they left nameless) contacting their customers to ask about their overclocking methods.

I used to build my own but to eb honest I can’t be arsed anymore  Lazy I know but I’d rather order a custom PC (there are plenty of places where you get to choose the components and they build it for you) and have it delievered in working order.

Getting old … m3h

Then now all wishlists

AMD Athlon FX-60
4GB Ram in Dualchannel
like 1 TB storage, with a 72 GB Raptor 10000 rpm
CD/DVD/BR/HDDVD reader/writer
2x nVidia GeForce 7800GTX512
Then the rest like creative soundcard, that new one, nice soundsystem, a hell of a motherboard etc etc etc…

Don’t forget the 1000W PSU.

I’ve had one pre built pc, an 8088 back in the late 80’s. It was my first PC, and it was DAMN expensive lol. Since then I’ve built all my PC’s and it’s been a few, 286, 386dx, 486dx33, 486dx 100, p166, p3 500, Duron 1ghz, athlon 1.4, p4 2.8. It’s so easy so why not, I assemble a new pc in what, 15 minutes tops?

(Dazzamac) #29

bollox! It took me 15 minutes to find my screwdriver last time :stuck_out_tongue:

I prefer to build PCs myself.

On the other hand most shops will build you a PC with the components of your choice for a small extra fee (about 50€-80€ here in Berlin) - the advantage is that you get full a warranty for the entire PC and not only the warranty for single parts.

lol maybe time to bring some order to your tools then!

I use two screwdrivers, but it doesn’t take me 30 minutes to find them, thankfully

Imo alienware ftw but its costs to much :frowning:

Of course, I’d like a G5 Quad.
Obviously, I’m a Mac guy; but will roll my own at some point. I’m hoping the Intel switch will make Macs more of an option as a gaming platform.
