the game got good reviews as well you just have to dig through the trash.

the reason the game didnt do so good was the bad reviews and its a niche game, aimed at a very small amount of people.

ok so here’s what i think, that it sold 1 million copies across all consoles and wiether or not 999,999 sold the game and i am the only one still playing, SD just got a bank roll.

if i was in their position i would just drop support all together i would be in kinda a IDGAF mood after all this negative press.

Why does everyone deem a hater of brink a cod fanboy? Do you people really believe most of the people quit due to the fact it wasn’t cod? How sad and deluded are you? No, it couldn’t be the horrible balancing, lack of content, bugs, graphical bugs, failed promises and repetitiveness. Noooooo ofc not, it had to be because it wasn’t cod.

not deluded but if over 20 million play cod and like it i think a good lot bought brink. most of the people that dont like it are just cown to be clowns

You won’t have anyone to play with in 2 months. Let alone in 2 weeks. Each and every day the numbers have been decreasing. Dlc will raise numbers for like 3 days and keep it constant for another week. After that it would drop even more (since a huge chunk of those still playing are only playing on the promise of dlc). In 2 months, only the hardest of die hard fans will play it. You do realize a lot of great games come out in 2 months. Deus ex is one of them.

It didn’t get in the way because you had smart, but it’s pointless. Just there to advertise the smart. A spot in a map with boxes could be the same without those boxes. It’s not like vaulting or mantling INCREASED your speed or anything.

Xbox360 Brink fanbase is bigger than the PC fanbase. 2 months from now, I’m probably gonna still be playing Brink.

I’ll bring up the Perfect Dark Zero example again. That game’s online community died VERY quickly, but there was still a core group of a few dozen players who met online once or twice a week to play it.

Kinda like the group of guys I play ice hockey with every Saturday night. I’ve been going to that same rink here in Seattle for 3 years now and most of the guys are the same guys I met the first time I played there 3 years ago. The rink is an old decrepit Schmidt-hole, the locker-rooms are a science experiment, and the ice is kinda like choppy pond-hockey, but we have a good time playing there. We don’t care that the rink isn’t the best one ever and that most people in the area don’t like to play there. We like it and therefore, we have fun and keep coming back.

The only difference is that if you were there at the rink whining about it everyday (like you do here) while we were trying to enjoy the game, somebody sooner or later, would get annoyed enough to knock your teeth out.

Also, wtf! Why’d I go through the trouble of making you that super white star just to have you go back to red? You are so insensitive!

I use them as cover all the time. Sometimes you dont have time to run to the nearest corner, you get ambushed and need to crouch behind anything in reach to let your health regen.

And theres still the fact that the maps seem more “lived in” when all of the rooms and corridors aren’t empty.

Honestly, first time ever with the lame Q-tip joke. Yeah, I won’t quit my day job. It pays much better than most jobs and is way more fun.

As I expected, you completely ignored my example about the hockey rink. I don’t care if I’m playing with/against the same Brinksters 2 months or 2 years from now, as long as I am having fun. Since we’d all keep playing and getting better, the level of play should go up and the fun should continue.

Oh I thought about it. But I don’t know much info about it. Do you guys talk about stuff? What? I doubt you go there for the sole purpose of just playing hockey. And that example would work if HOCKEY (not the stadium) was a dead sport.
