Well i wasnt sure if i would be allowed to ask this here, But ive looked everywhere.
Im trying to find someone that is able/willing to make script/mod not quiet what it is to save xp such like w:et i belive its been done by Zeus (owner of BBA) and i know hes not willing to share i respect that.

I would be willing to pay up for someone who could take the time to do me something like this that logs xp so upon restarts crashes ect you dont lost xp so it lasts more than 1 campaign can set it to reset at say 40k or what ever.

Anyone able/intrested in doing such a thing i know it ant easy ive been working with m8’s who do stuff a bit like this but havnt had much luck due to fact i dont know much about this side of creating.

Also if anyone is intersted in doing this for some £££ $$$ im runing a windows server.

just use etpub, jaymod or no quarter mod, they all save xp if you want

I think something like that has been done already for ETQW. There was a post in the old forum (on the community site that went down).

Yes it has been done by BBA Zeus being owner of BBA in my first post and i know hes not willing to share. I respect that how ever from what i can see hes based it on w:et xp save using jaymod so i can only geuss hes using coding for this within the jaymod and converting that coding somehow to work on etqw.

Yes BBA’s mod is not for public i know that said in first post. Thats why i was hoping theres someone here on SD that knows this sort of stuff to make one for me. If i pay up ££$$

In game/rules/GameRules_Objective.cpp
Comment out line 169.
player->GetProficiencyTable().Clear( false );

This and g_xpSave 1

In theory it should work.

BBA claims that you have your XP saved accross their servers, does ETQW store XP in files?

I think all the proficiency data is stored in the proficiency/xp log files thus if servers share those logs, they share xpsave.

Either way the question remains. Because an external process could actually maintain that file and emulate a persistent table.

XP is stored in Proficiency logs, XP logs and objective.log

xp Save is about not loosing your XP whenever you disconnect, is not about having all maxed out

SebaSoft, when was the last time you actually play the game ?
You can win all upgrades for a class in 1/2 campaign…

That didnt work Murka good try though.
I did get it to load in end though but it just wasnt saving over the normal campaign stuff

Couple things there cookies, our mod has NOTHING to do with Jaymod, thats ET and written by Jaybird. Secondly instead of starting with the BBA wont share stuff maybe say why it is exactly your group is looking for an XP mod in the first place, its because I had 2 of my admins come to me with facts stating that instead of your clan being happy with us providing a place for them to play with the xp save, they decided to start recruiting our regular players to your clan and servers. I’m not going to argue this here, just stating a fact.

I’ve been a long time member of the SD site here ( longer then this account shows as my other got nurfed somehow in an upgrade awhile ago ) and am friends with many respected members here such as Rayban and others. You may find someone willing to take on your project for $$$ but certainly wont receive any sympathy here as most are long time gamers and claners who know the rules of respect in online gaming to which your bunch has none.
