XignCode3 Security Alert 0xE019100B

(LuLNope) #1

Error: Suspicious program detected. Please close any other programs you have running and restart the game.

So apparently I’m cheating again. Last time it was Dxtory, this time I don’t even know what might be the cause. Where do I send the Xign log? Or what do I do to make this error stop.

A few moments after starting the game I get thrown out to desktop with this message. Happened many times with less and less processes in the background each time. At the time of starting the game I have no programs running aside from Steam, the only ‘3rd party’ processes, other than Windows Vista stuff, were atiedxx.exe, CCC.exe, MOM.exe. Game passed file integrity check though at first there was a problem it got fixed and kicks still happen.

Yea, I’ve been having this same problem since the Nexon launcher.
Xign closes my Task Manager, my Wacom tablet helper, my KeePass and Dxtory. I have nothing else running except SpeedFan, MSI Afterburner and Windows Firewall Control. I cannot disable anything else!!

I really don’t know if this is the best or the worst anti-cheat I’ve ever used!
Where can I send these logs to get fixes? I’ve been unable to play this game for months.

(Nail) #3

netlimiter is a problem, well not a problem but an apparent xigncod3 trigger

(bombden) #4

I have the same problem and im running windows vista too here is my log file: www .dropbox. com/s/la5g40r113eip68/xigncode.log?dl=0
i have played the game before it was on steam and there i didnt had the problem.

(LuLNope) #5

Thankfully it doesn’t outright ban you. I can play on my laptop (Win8.1) so it’s not a problem with steam account. Today I tried to disable every non-standard (and not driver related) windows service/process and problem was still there. Either Vista is extremely rare among DB players and it’s a problem with Vista or I missed the service/process which causes the problem. A list of banned processes / services would be helpful so that I could try to track down what’s causing the problem, that or at least some reaction from support. Can’t you tell me which program/process causes it based on the log (again, who do I send it to? MissMurder?) That’d be great…

(Speed) #6

Many ppl have that problem maybe some ppl from support help us atlast. I turn off almost all progs that i can and still have this error

(Nail) #7

Netlimiter, bitdefender and dxtory are all a problem
it affects one of the devs as well, they’re looking into it

(Jekt) #8

Sigh. This problem is back for me. Netlimiter is uninstalled. I don’t use Bitdefender or Dxtory.

(Mustang) #9

Any program that adds an in-game overlay is also a problem, just delete XIGNCODE please Nexon.

(Jekt) #10

Mumble overlay causes this also. Fuck this shitty anti cheat.

(Hipolipolopigus) #11

Xigncode is absolute rubbish. All it seems to do is scan for things which reference process hooks, then checks them against a whitelist. Just hit 20, now my account’s been suspended for 2 days because of a task-manager replacement geared towards power users.

(MissMurder) #12

Sorry for all the trouble guys. We are working on getting non-malicious programs off the suspension list and investigating.

(Pauluzz) #13

It’d help if there would be a general procedure set up to submit problematic applications to the whitelist. Certainly just enabling a few names that popped up here won’t help in the long term.

(Hipolipolopigus) #14

In the mean time, my account is still suspended even though it’s been 48 hours :disappointed:

(LuLNope) #15

Good idea. But let’s get back to MY problem. : D I don’t even know WHAT triggers the kick. The problem seems to be caused by some Vista process/service. How do I find out which process/windows service triggers the anticheat? I seriously don’t mind disabling stuff if it allows me to play on my main rig.

(LuLNope) #16

I installed Windows 7 as second system on my pc, game worked without a problem. It’s a problem with Windows Vista.

(Speed) #17

OK one month later same problem error code 0XE019100B and it’s not vista i have win 7

(shotgun pickers die) #18

Yeap…

My current experience with Dirty Bomb so far… I didn’t know it was such a big problem with so many people. I actually read that Dirty Bomb uses this software to prevent cheating/hacking and I have nothing but bad stories about it. This wouldn’t be the first game that received a huge decline in players just solely based on the anti cheating software used.

I re-installed but that didn’t do any good either. Going to restart my computer and otherwise I will try to mail those guys. I believe that is what they have written down in their support:

“When the XIGNCODE composition files have been damaged, the error occurs. Please, send an e-mail to support@wellbia.com that compress and attached the xigncode folder or xigncode.log file for solution”

Not entirely sure what I am supposed to now, I guess I will just send them the entire folder and see if they can fix it.

EDIT: I’m the type of guy that calls tech support and receives the question: “Sir, did you try turning it off and on again?” and be like “YES OF COURSE I’M NOT AN IDIO- Wait actually I forgot hold on… Lol it worked.”

I’m not even kidding… lol

Hi,

I’m having the same problem (0xE019100B) after installing Dirty Bomb. (just got a key)
I’m able to launch the game, but this error quickly pops up and closes the game.
There’s no additional information (what program could cause this), only a .log I could send if it’s needed.
Restarting my computer didn’t help.
Verifying integrity of game cache on Steam didn’t help, but it looks like one file is deleted each time the game is closed with this error. (verifying integrity : OK > launching the game > error 0xE019100B > game automatically closed > verifying integrity : 1 file missing)

I don’t have any of the softwares mentionned in previous posts (netlimiter, bitdefender, dxtory, mumble, etc…)

If this kind of anti-cheat really needs to be there, it should either refuse to launch the game and give details about the name of softwares causing the problem. (accepting to launch the game … just to kill it 15 seconds after being in the menu and giving no details allowing the player to fix this is useless)

My OS: Windows 7 64 bits
