Do people realise how ignorant they sound when they cry about privacy. For example wanting Vac when they do the same thing and also looks at your DNS cache entries. You also use websites that log your ip address, which can be use to find your location and your identity (Yes you can). Also things like facebook messages, skype and other chat program give out your ip to the people that you talk to and with some simple tweaks they can have your IP. Now most sites that you join have a TOS that says by agreeing you are ok with them logging your info. Now lets go get more basic your browser also logs what you do and in some cases send that information to the company that made the browser.

Also don’t forget that most sites also have a statement that you agree to in the TOS that states that they can add things and update the TOS at anytime and it’s your job to read it when it happens. Sometime they give you a notification that says a small change was made, but it could be a change you don’t like.

Also most of your information is easy to find online and that’s how a lot of fraud/stolen identity happen now.

None of this is scary or frightening. VAC does not as far as I’m aware save personal information and send it to Valve. Websites log your IP, well duh, but so what, an IP is useless to 99.9% of people and comes with no personal information other than location. I doubt facebook messages are p2p and give out your IP, skype does but I believe it can be blocked - but you should just not use skype anyway.

People that use things like facebook pretty much have given up their right to protest privacy invasion, but that’s not all of us, and just because they’ve given it up to fb doesn’t mean they want everyone else to have it too.

well XIGNCODE doesn’t do anything with the cheats as we all know, so whether or not they break any law I don’t know, but I do know that they regulate nothing.

I know this is a old post, but I found it on Google, and don’t feel the need to start another.

Games running “XingCode3” Should tell players its installing it, The Terms OF Service of many games only covers that one game install aka “Black Desert” For example, or “Dirty Bomb” It doesn’t cover XingCode 3, unless the third party agreement specifically Mentions “XingCode3” if a hack is detected will send us data back to “Nexon INC” For example, and specifically tell users that its installing it.

So I would say its in violation of European, and U.S Laws.

I pre-order black desert and saw this piece of shit program in it I removed it and had to manually remove XingCode 3 + Black Desert from my system, XingCode3 has caused me serious issues in the past networking issues, and issues in other games and constantly runs even when game isn’t running.

I am contacting every computer privacy place, eff,etc and sending in details about the companies using this product in their games and games using it that have violated my privacy.

The most a company can do is Inform users “This game will also install xingcode3 Anti Cheat” by installing this game you consent to this.

We don’t run Xigncode anymore, we run NGS now. Closing this thread for outdated information, and necro-posting.
