First post on this forum, and it is gonna be longer than I care to write on such a dragged out incident. I guess I will address some of the particulars in my own order. When I play on the forums as an XD member I take that position with pride, at times I may come off harsh…but hey I do it so others can have fun. For instance on Mr.Chris’ XD demo you can see me “blatantly abusing admin privs” when I asked people to clean up the language and to not swear. I will enforce that as I know for a fact at least of our regs who play on there are barely pre-teens. IMO seeing f-this and f-that and $h!t every two seconds is absurd, it is one of the reasons why I choose to enforce that fully. So I ask nicely and then mute if need be.
On that demo it shows me talking directly towards a certain “bam” as I spent most of the map getting his attention. On the previous map he started off the match by tk’ing me w/ a satchel in the spawn as axis, so I did the smart thing and put him on allies. I figured he was new to the game and felt he can learn with the “goodies” while his team tried to capture the old city. Away from nooby harm. Then all i hear for the next minutes is what the F***, I ask him to stop and told him why he was put on allies. He did not agree with me and claimed up and down it was a warm-up tk.
After a minute more of him yelling at me and cursing out my clan I do kick him. He kept coming back on and I kicked him a few more times. After another miute of that he gets back on, I decide to ask him if he will clean up his language, he says…“quit being such a pussy” I shrugged it off but made damn sure he was on the other team as I hate when people come up to tk me for fun or vengance. Another thing “bamâ€? and me disagree on I hear more insults, this time on my family and me. I will not repeat them but they were from the mouth of a baboon speaking of incestual acts with my mother and siblings. Even then, I must have abused my admin powers, even though I did not ban him. I asked him to post on our forums with an apology letter by that night, or be banned. He ignored me onto the next map.
Then a friendly clan to him shows up, the eVe| clan. I have played with them on our server and a few of them are great guys, but a few others now dislike me for what I told bam when they got on during the “demo map.” I told him again to post on the forums or be banned, for insulting my family, my clan and me. They said they would make sure he does that. That was a few days ago and there is not a single post of apology by bam on our forum. Nevertheless, I still let him play; man, I sure do abuse my privs!!!
Now hopefully that long rant shows you how I keep the verbal crap clear on our server. As far as keeping the teams balanced, if we notice that our teams are affecting the gameplay such as “clan-stacking” we do adjust accordingly. Beating up on a non-clan team is no fun at all, and takes little skill. So if you ever visit our servers and notice that one team has a few XD, it is because we enjoy playing as a team and dicking around as a team. We like to play for fun; we are not by any means a clan that has to win every map. So clan stacking is not a valid term for us.
I would like to say thanks to =DOW=Pele, Sitting Duck, and Kendle for their support from the steamrolling my clans name received on here. Esp. Kendle for being a very rare un-biased individual, unlike Mr. Chris and an Otto who “magically” showed up on our servers after this thread appeared on here and did nothing but insult my clan and smack talk how our servers are administrated. :drink:
The reason why the members of the L2| clan were banned is they were spec’d for odd kills. I noticed Potato killed a few people while shooting nowhere near the person at times, and killing people on a few occasions (in my eyes) without hitting them with a bullet? So we asked him and it was not intended as bait, but either way we have admins who are serious about keeping the servers clean. Battery was noticed of this same shooting “off-target” shot and was banned as well. As we thought, it was Potato/Purpose asking for himself on another name.
Thanks again if you read this post, I felt it was my obligation to tell the people who have little experience with our server what had happened. To the L2| clan, I am sorry for the misunderstanding, but if it were your shoes, what would you do? Oh one more thing L2| clan, Cheers for being class acts and posting this on a forum where we would have to look for it, not on our clan forum so we could look into it immediately!! :bump: :drink:
Until the I will use my bind>> “please watch your language while on this server, keep the comments clean” I will just pray it gets into the thick domes of some people :banghead:. Until then guys happy fragging

Oh yeah and changing several cvars within the restrictions of pb in order to make my ping appear much higher so that I would be percieved to live in the uk! PHEAR ME!
