Actually this is a new portal that I have built as part of the www.wolfgaming.net community. I am site manager (Don’t blame me for the front page lol I didn’t do that) and www.wolfservers.com. We are a server provider and gaming community over 12,000 strong. We’ve been around for about 5 years now. So were you first? or us? Doesn’t really matter now does it.

We currently have 24 screenshots available and should be getting more soon. Also (and yes I know how much this is worth lol…If only we could depend on it) For some reason www.computerandvideogames.com has a release date of May 17 2006

why are you mutilating the screenshots with that aggressive logo of yours? imo a small letter half transparent site name is bettah. in the current version i wouldn’t get any screenshot from your site, neither would i send it to my friends nor post it on a forum.

And that is perfectly fine.

And no the site is not just for me. Look here

do I particularly want to do it? No, but it’s the way it’s done.

The argument is that the logo per se is OK but the logo-design and print on the screens is perhaps a little too… I dunno. I guess it is open for debate. Nevertheless, he gave you a web-user’s perspective, and I agree with him. The logo useage is standard practice but your current logo stands out, and a more transparent version would look much better and be more in line with the otherwise professional look of your site.

in other words the screenshots look like they are all the same: your logo with etqw in the background. the logo is too aggressive imo. honestly it looks like you’re trying to get reputation by abusing the work of others for your own benefit.

ahhhh I see. Point taken. To be honest, that one wasnt my choice at all. The images became available and had to be put out there quickly. I’ll figure something else out now that the rush has been taken out of the occasion. There are other personalities involved afterwall  The gallery is still in flux and the images will be done very soon as I just purchased the gallery solution last night and have not yet implemented it. I do agree with you guys that the watermark should be more subtle. And good deal about the Doom 3 guys who posted the unaltered screens.
