Hey,

I would love to introduce you all to yet another Community site : www.etqw.com

Yeah, sorry about that… I know, there are loads of them!

But, just to keep it interesting, we decided to throw in a few little differences.

Our main aim is, of course, Quakewars, and we will be following all the news, views and developments as the game progresses.

We aim to be as user-friendly as possible for all our visitors and to achieve this have extended our service by translating the full site content into four different languages: English, French, German and Dutch (currently still in development). So, if our visitors miss out on the latest news, it will never be due to a lack of effort on our behalf.

We currently have optimized servers located around in europe ready to provide all our users with the best possible ping the moment the demo - and later, the official game - launches.
Our public TeamSpeak server - ts.etqw.com - hosts 150 slots and is currently open to all visitors for discussion, general chat or a jolly sing-a-long. (Don’t miss our weekly Karaoke hour every Sunday at 7pm. (CET))

Our community is run for gamers by gamers, people who are just as - if not, MORE - passionate about gaming as you are. Each and every one of our behind-the-scenes minions has been fed on a steady diet of bread, water and Quake patches to ensure their ultimate devotion to the task.
They exist only to serve our members’ every need.

We are also offering hosting and possible sponsorship for future Quakewars-related events (as long as we are invited, of course).

In short; whatever we can do to aid the Gaming community as a whole, we WILL do.

Our future plans include Ladders, Cups, Live war events and much, much more. Although, I am not allowed to give details at this time or a guy called Bubba will come over to my house at 2am (CET) and shoot me in the kneecaps.

Very cool. I’ll echo nUllSkillZ’ suggestion to link to enemyterritory.com or otherwise make it clear that yours is an unofficial fansite. Your site is so polished that I can see players getting confused over its status, especially given recent events and your choice of URL.

Indeed, will do so. We don’t want to get things messed up.

As for the other community sites, we will have a “partners” section under the “poll” on the homepage. if you have any "gif"image code of community sites that stand out and would like to be on our homepage, shoot it here, i will integrate it. :drink:.But we will have to make a selection :slight_smile: sorry. Otherwise we will have to have a full page of gifs…i hope you understand.

@Wils, looked around www.enemyterritory.com but couldn’t find a “gif” or “or link us” button. neither on SD. would love to have them.
