Does this happen to anyone else. my clan has their own server so i play there only. Everythings fine for a week or 2 then all of a sudden i go in and my controls are all fuked up and when i try to push the button for my gun it says this “first enable 3rd person mode and push f5” and then when i try to shoot somone the game just disconnects. WTF!?!?!?!

Oh no, you don’t need drugs to get some really psychedelic ET moment…
Yesterday I connected to a public ETPro server and I could not pickup any med or ammo packs if I walked over them :eek2: I had to use my “use” key to pick them up. This problem was only occuring to me, not to anyone alse. I reconnected and the problem was solved. And I did not even lose my XP !
And have you noticed those weird screens you see when a map is finished and the counter hits 0 and is about to load the next map? Sometimes I see dead soldiers floating in the air, who raise from their death!
Oh and wait ! If you were playing Goldrush, all of a sudden you hear a rooster!! :suspicious:

That’s happened to me on a few occasions. I don’t know what does it. I sat next to the East Radar parts for around 5 minutes trying to pick the fucking thing up and it just wouldn’t work. I kept asking my team to come and help me, but people were like “you do it”. No one came and we lost the map. Stupid bug.

Ya, I have seen both of these bugs, AND a new one that I saw yesterday.
Playing on Fuel Dump as Axis, I was pleying medic and defending my shit. The depot walls were both blown, and I was kinda hanging back to provide support to our engineers.
So I’m walking around, and I glance down at my command map (as I do on occasion) and see - on the command map - that I’m about to step on a friendly landmine. I freak out and stop, then look in front of me…no landmine.
Strange, so I walked around to the other landmines on the command map…NONE of them are there.
WTF? There are no landmines anywhere, even though they are on the command map.
So I switched to engy, to see if this effected the available team landmines as well. Guess what, it did. There were no landmines anywhere in the whole map, but my team only had 3 landmines available to place.
Talk about a BUG.

I know lots of people that have hit this on occasion (myself included)…it’s actually a 1.02 client bug (we’ve hit it on etmain, etpro, and shrub servers). Something causes auto-activate to become disabled for that particular game session.
If it happens again, drop the console and do:
\cg_autoactivate 0
\cg_autoactivate 1
That should fix it without having to reconnect.
