wow…i keep getting kicked for a age requirement…whats is this and how can i fix it on both client and server…client is runing win/xp and server is linux???

You need to enter your credit card info into cl_creditcardauth to verify that you’re over 18 to play on “adult” servers. These servers have nude characters and lots of swearing, and put players into adult situations with references to drug use. =)
No, seriously. There’s a minguidage server setting that only allows players with GUIDs over a certain age to connect to the server. Last I heard the feature wasn’t working correctly. It could be that the server you are trying to connect to is experimenting with this feature. Basically, try another server. Once your GUID has aged enough, you should be able to connect to the one you’re talking about.

yea, got done talking to the server admin and he’s been working with this pb beta minguidage and its bugged to all hell…but… oh well its better for the serious players…and gets rid of the llamas :bash: that come to servers…thanks for the reply RK
