But on a more serious note, I’ve always been a big fan of software manuals (my wife writes them for a living) and I always read computer game manuals. Sadly, I think manuals have gotten less love in recent years. Check out any of the old Maxis game manuals (Sim Earth for instance), the manual is almost as entertaining as the game itself. I read Brink’s manual all the way through and found it severely lacking in informative content.

Have to agree, though to be honest I was not expecting much from the Brink manual after having read the ET:QW which I believe was only 3 or 4 pages long and explained literally 20% of the game! :eek:

Voted yes. If it was a snap to make a fireteam and communicate with other people on your team using mics, then I’d be hearing more people talking in-game. I see people on with mics and nobody is talking. While making a fireteam to use VOIP with may be easy to do, it’s just not happening. You can say that this is because people are retarded or mentally crippled in some way because they can’t figure it out - but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s not happening. Which means it needs to be tweaked or Brink will be forever silent.
