Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory ranked ahead of CSS, Unreal & CoD4!

The Shacknews Chatty community voted Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory ahead of CSS, Unreal & CoD4 in their top 100 PC games of all time!

Ok, ok, the article might have been a little on the old side of things, but we certainly feel that it’s still worth highlighting.

What do you think? Do you agree with these rankings? Let us know below!

COD4 has much higher number of players if you combine crack + non cracked servers. It’s not a free game like ET.

ET would have extremely high player count then any other free FPS games if it’s being “advertised” as free game on steam.

Wait for ET:L. You’ll see the spread when it’ll include the main features

Thank you for the heads up Silvanoshi!

Hope ET:L will be better!

When ET:L comes out there will be around 20 active servers during peak time :stuck_out_tongue:

I Belong to a Generation of People who grew up with RTCW and ET. I have to admit that I’m biased but Based on seeing a small but skilled Community of mappers and Modders still Working on the Game Speaks for ET Staying One of the Most popular Games ever. Just speaking from the gut I Hope That SD and Activision reflects what Makes this game so popular (while others like QW failed) and that One Day SD uses this Knowledge to make a Game that finally derserves to be called ET 2. this doesn’t has to be a free game but it has to be Based on Those Little Things That People like so much (like realistic storyline, no Science Fiction, Great gameplay, etc). I also need to say that the success of this game, at least in Part, Comes from giving the Community the Option to make new Mods and Maps and i strongely believe that this, coupled with expert help from the makers is Key of success for this game.

… and in order to keep the success for this game, please, please community-manager, never power-off the masterserver
