Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Problems

seems like he fixed it with administrator rights or compatability for XP
Have you tryd to download et from another site other than the one you had previusly download it from
It’s remarkable you get ET running on Vista. Soon as i got my laptop with Vista, i wiped it out, and installed XP  .
Well done, good luck running stuff in the future when XP compatibility is taken out. You know the whole “palaver” about getting stuff to run in Vista is fixed through a very simple exercise in patience and research. Everything will run, whether it be in XP compatibility mode or running as administrator. Educate yourself and things become easier, these features have been introduced for YOUR security. Granted, they don’t need to be so obtrusive, but they can be worked with. You realise you can turn it off ever asking you to confirm your action and can set it to ALWAYS run as administrator.
Look into the product and you will find things, or be lazy blame the product when you could have looked into it.
Vista will still be there when/if the need arises in the future. :moo:
He’ll probably get better gaming performance in XP anyway for now (until Vista drivers have matured).
And when that happens XP will still have a smaller memory footprint (on my system 100mb versus 500mb).

Yes i did. Actually, I was on of the first to have Vista on a laptop. I discover some amazing things. U need to instal drivers urself, via Internet. But, I had no Internet Wizard.
U call that service ? I got XP and downloaded the Vista Drivers, then get Vista again on it, then installed the drivers. After that, my laptop was 1 big lag thing. Not even ET would run on it.
I was so pissed of, that I switched back to XP.
if win 95 would run todays games i would switch back to it, i tried it on my laptop and it was ubeeeer fast.
