I need help. When I go onto my clans server (KFC) Its says: UnPure client detected pk3 files referenced. how do I fix it?

First thought: you disabled downloading (see cl_allowDownload) and you now want to connect to a server which has got some pk3’s that are (slightly) different from those on your PC.
Set cl_allowDownload to 1 and check again.

get rid of whale client, jaymod, and clean up etmain folder

Any time that happens (usually after downloading something from a server and getting disconnected - on any mod including etpro tbh), just quit ET, reload it & connect again. It works for me every time. It seems to only happen me when I download something, am disconnected & try to reconnect through ET. Quitting ET & starting again seems to get me connected with no problems.

I think it’s the same bug (seems related) that used to happen all the time when custom maps etc were downloaded, but in a different form (and it doesn’t happen as often now thankfully :]).
