That makes it sound like “the makers thought it was shite”, would be an idea if you elaborated that a bit more.

I understand that it was the problems with the single player element of the game that caused the free release, due to there “not being a market for multi-player only game” (hell I would have paid for it)

I agree with BondyBoy007 and the site is a little bit empty. Design isn’t all, content is king.

monkeyfarts, it’s a standard HTML form. Just do it in the normal manner for a form (look at his source, or any number of HTML help sites, or google).

I wouldn’t advise it though, since it’s very easy to hack. For example the form Usayd has can easily be edited, and anybody can come along and use it to send email to anybody they want. All it needs is you to edit the source and when you see this part <input type=“hidden” name=“TO” value=“his.email@here.invalid”> just change it from ‘hidden’ to ‘text’ and you can write any address for the email to go to. So with no effort somebody could send tons of fake/spam/abusive emails out to whoever they like, that say they came from your site.

Erm… only if they have access to replace the file. They cant exactly view source and save over the original without having the correct props. If anything, what your talking about isnt a Hack, its just a Rip. Simple use of this Form or at least <Form> example:

Hmm I don’t remember how I saved the file when I tested. When I first learned of it, I got it to work with one website (it was some fitness site) but it’s so many years ago I’m not sure how… perhaps a google search would return a page detailing how to do the ‘rip’, if anyone is interested enough to wanna know.

You can save it yourself nps but its when trying to overwrite the original file (eg, imagine form.html) it wont let you unless you have access to be it FTP or whatever. Not as simple as view source, save as your option would be locally or somewhere you do have access to.

If the twat is using a php mailformer (and a shit coder), then you can quite simply just save the file to your comp, edit it a little, make the form="?" value contain the doamin etc of the site, and your off :wink:

yeah thanks for all the comments. The full review was actually written by someone else because i assumed they would have a greater understanding of the game then me :stuck_out_tongue: maybe i was wrong. well why else do you think that they released it for free? Hell making it free made it a much better game, you can tell anyone to have get the game for free :slight_smile:
thanks for the rankings and all, but i probably don’t have the right to take them so i wont, i’d email them but i don’t speak german (or is it dutch).
Making a form is really quite easy…there are loads of websites to help you with website design etc.
I kno flittchen :stuck_out_tongue: by the way its a guy not a girl, long story :moo: !
and as for the rest of your negative comments, it’s not very easy making a whole site on your own for a game, i only made it to show i really like the game :slight_smile:
