You wouldn’t consider having a user recreate an account after banning that user several times insulting? Especially when that person contributed nothing of value after being banned the first time?

Not only do I think Wils is doing a bang-up job, but I think he cut IRONMAN a lot of slack by giving him a chance to redeem himself with each new account (instead of banning him again outright.) IRONMAN threw the chance away every time by being a long-winded, condescending troll with a superiority complex.

I fancy myself an extremely patient and tolerant person, but quite frankly, I (and others) am (are) just tired of his bullshit. This is not something unique to this forum—he was spotted trolling on some Call of Duty forums recently, and he appeared to be spewing about as much factual material (and receiving as warm a welcome) as he did here.

IRONMAN would’ve been cut a lot more slack by many of the people here, I think, had he provided one single piece of credible evidence to back up his claims. He never did. I may, perhaps, sound full of myself at times; however, I can provide proof to support myself when I assert something as fact.

In Northern Europe it is also well known that a good way to lure a troll out of the forest (and out into the open), is to a) get one of its kids out of the forest, b) and to hurt the troll-kid a little. (Hurting kids? Yes, old folktales are often horrible, I know.) The troll cannot resist coming out, to save the kid. It never fails!
In modern times, the big forum trolls come out when we (normal) forum people argue with their smaller troll friends. They cannot stay away! “Hey, do not harass my troll friend you evil human!”

Trying to defend Sin of all people. Next check his profile and read his posts, mostly trolling our forum game threads after his team loosing, him calling everyone names then leaving the server in a huff. He was eventually banned from the PW forums for trolling.

He has was also banned at various other forums and each time he adds that site to his flakey site as if they were the ones who were in the wrong. Yeah I defended Sin, yet another guy that got fucked in the ass by you lot. If you lot had your way none of the other map-makers like Sin would ever be able to even remotely base their work on somebody else’s. Even though it happens all the time in the real world.

I lost those forum games because no-one helped me out in a supposedly even team-based game of Enemy Territory. I was effectively one guy against about six of them. Because I wouldn’t kiss their smelly asses, I got gang-raped. And no, I didn’t enjoy it. I dared to complain about it and got called a troll then banned. Laughable, really.

My post on the ET Pro forums was very polite and was really made not for me, but in defense of a girl who had interviewed that ass Bani. Him and his cronies had been bad-mouthing her publicly, an absolute disgrace considering nothing had warranted such abuse. Sure, Oblique (the interviewer) was a bit inexperienced but she didn’t deserve that level of insult thrown at her. Bani even calls the people who work for him ‘monkeys’. It seems, judging by some other forums, that I’m not the only one who thinks Bani is a bit of an asshole either.

One last thing. Some background on the supposed ‘golden boy’ Grimmy. This is the guy who, by his own admission, grants admin privileges to his female ‘friends’ then encourages them to boot people off servers and unvoice them in IRC, just because he doesn’t like them. He also has his own little gang of hoods, basically Stotty, Pedro, Lorteungen, Spoof, Homer, Goose and Saigon. Because some of them have good playing skills, they can do Grim’s dirty work and ensure that any foe that comes onto the EFG weekly forum games gets a right ass-kicking if they don’t ‘pay homage’ to his little gang. They also like to corpse dance and carry out other generally unsporting behaviours.

Now then ‘teacher’ Wils, are you gonna make the right decision here? Who are you gonna support, Grim or me?

In the case of Sin, there was no ‘base’ his map off another person’s concept involved. He was taking maps, converting them with some new textures (where the RTCW/custom ones didn’t show up), and rereleasing them. In the case of my map, he wandered into an alpha test, downloaded the map, and then promptly released it to the public download sites. This was the guy you were defending.
