I love this game, but seeing as my PC isn’t exactly the best ( it sucks ) my FPS drops like crazy, from 70 to 20 all the time, causing me to get my ass handed to me on a regular basis. I would edit the config files but I dont think any of the current player created ini edits work anymore? IS there hope for potato users like me? Otherwise I will have to go back to CS GO and TF 2 and CoD : /
Will there ever be better optimization?
You can use outc1ders config and some other ones http://pastebin.com/jQ2STNJd

Don’t think Outc1ders config works anymore, along with a bunch of other ones
I use a slightly different version of Outc1der’s config and i get 280-330fps constant (no more bouncing between 330 and 150) and no more micro-stutters I used to have in the past randomly.
I also use a personalized version of outc1ders config.
I find it pretty handy he keeps it updated rather fast after every patch.
twitch.tv/outc1der latest version is of 28.07… Just scroll down.
also be sure to use the sound kill bind to get rid of that nasty audio bug
Ok, so after over clocking the crap out of my processor and graphcis card, turning res to low, downloading razor game booster, using the config edit, and setting dirty bomb priority to HIgh on task manager, I FINALLY go it to run at a playable, smoothe frame rate.
Only thing is I can only play on 6v6 servers because 16 player servers lags a bit.
My game didnt boot after I enabled his config. I’ll have to try and figure it out later.
They are optimizing it the whole time (and regress it some aswell), when I started in stresstest. I was running on low/medium everything, now I run almost everything on high (except the usual stuff that doesn’t improve anything while costing performance *cough motion blur). while pulling roughly the same FPS numbers.
They do optimize, unfortunaly usually they don’t mention it in the patchnotes.
heh im running a 4.2ghz i7 , 16gb ram , a 970 and off a ssd i barely get 60 fps with quite bad drops apparently random so i hope theres quite a lot of optimisiation coming!
I’m running a 4.2ghz i5, 16gb ram, a 770, off a 7200rpm drive and I get 144fps on max settings minus motion blur and get drops to 120-110 sometimes.
Sounds like you have some issues going on.
Why are most of the people who ask for better optimizations in every game the ones with old, bad PCs? My rig is by far not the best and I have a fluid gameplay with almost everything maxed out. We’re in 2015 people…
P.S. Your game will look like arse with configs.

id have to agree with you hearing what folks with similar and lesser rigs are pulling , but as every other game is giving me the sort of performance id expect im back to thinking the issues with db optimisation.
out of curiosity are you using a special edited config or anything? im just using the in game menus which frankly it doesnt matter if its all on max or minimum the performance is totally un-affected.

It’s partially because your definition of fluid is 60FPS.
Which makes this
highly ironic.

Only line I changed in the entire config was the maxfps line which I think is now redundent anyway seeing as how I set it to 144 way back and now that G-Sync doesn’t enforce V-Sync too I sometimes get above that.
So fresh config with in-game options all set to high then motion blur turned off.

You definitely have some issues going on either with your config, your install or your machine. Or you just have Vsync turned on and are locked to 60fps which would cause issues with input lag.
You don’t have Vsync forced on at the driver level do you?

There is a reason why CS Go and TF 2 are still the most popular FPS on steam. They run really well on a wide range of systems. There is a reason why two of the most played online games in the world (WoW and LoL) are so popular. Not onyl are they fun, but anyone with a toaster fora computer can run them. Better optimization = more players.
When? i dont think they know themself
