Will there ever be better optimization?
Ok, so after over clocking the crap out of my processor and graphcis card, turning res to low, downloading razor game booster, using the config edit, and setting dirty bomb priority to HIgh on task manager, I FINALLY go it to run at a playable, smoothe frame rate.

Only thing is I can only play on 6v6 servers because 16 player servers lags a bit.
I would make sure that your OCs are stable, and you can keep up cooling on both of them. If you are trying to run a really high OC on a stock fan or cooler, you’re going to have a bad time.

I manage a constant 60fps and without vsync I get over 90. All on a little 660. Will never understand why some people have issues running the game and when you drop the graphic level down it looks bloody awful!

Hah, I have an FX-8320 @ 4.2GHz, and a GTX 760 but I find it hard to go above 60fps sometimes. It’s really just systems being systems. Hardware is very unpredictable.

4670K@4.7GHz, 16GB 2400MHz RAM, SSD. I’ve switched from a 970 to a 980Ti and FPS barely moved - 110-150* in 1080p on max settings without motion blur.

As the new GPU is 50-100% more powerful, this may mean that DB is CPU-limited. Sadly I’m to lazy to to check it myself

(*) these were observed when I have time to look at the FPS counter. I an 8v8 mayhem with explosions in a small area they may drop lower, but I didn’t perceive any issues like stuttering/tearing etc.

Why are most of the people who ask for better optimizations in every game the ones with old, bad PCs? My rig is by far not the best and I have a fluid gameplay with almost everything maxed out. We’re in 2015 people…
P.S. Your game will look like arse with configs.
There is a reason why CS Go and TF 2 are still the most popular FPS on steam. They run really well on a wide range of systems. There is a reason why two of the most played online games in the world (WoW and LoL) are so popular. Not onyl are they fun, but anyone with a toaster fora computer can run them. Better optimization = more players.
Good luck raiding in WoW on a toaster, you’re not gonna get far.
