will the anti-cheat be updated

So i know with the summer squash the bugs/glitches are being taken care of. I was wondering if the anti-cheat will be updated as well. There are an abundance of hackers and it seems like more and more are coming each day. It’s incredible annoying when someone one shots 5 full health people at once (one bullet). or when you are shot once and all your health drains down (one bullet hack).

The devs don’t like hackers, I think this is obvious, so I would assume they’re doing their best

I’ve played a lot in the last month (about 3 sets of missions every day), didn’t notice any increase in hacker numbers on EU servers.

I’ve seen several hackers recently in the US, pretty blatant too…last week had a guy get over a 100 kills in a match…could tell he was a complete scrub who needed the hack…would easily kill him when he was reloading.

Was bragging about how he wont get banned…

As far as I know the anti cheat gets updated as soon as it can as often as it can. As far as I know though the anti cheat is handled by Nexon while the bug squash is being done by Splash Damage.

I saw an aimbot-toggling Vassili recently, but all in all, I’ve come across very few hackers in this game. I’ve know a lot of false claims get thrown around, though.

I deal with more hackusations than hackers to be honest, when people keep crying wolf, I just assume they’re pissed off from dying and will immediately go for that assumption.

I got my first one in a horrible game (I went 16/14) because I killed a Pheonix once in two shots with the grandeur, then again later on. He probably killed me just as often though.

I’ve seen slightly more cheaters in the last couple of weeks than I usually do. More on pub than there were in the past, definitely. But they’re never above level 12/15 so that’s still a good sign from my point of view.

In the last month i’ve recorded 2 cheater and reported 3, EU server, idk if its the same guy or a bunch of ppl downloading the same hack, it was a simple aimbot no toggle no autoturn, just aimbot in line of sight

I rarely come across them, I see a ton of fragger self boost nade jump glitcher people though. That is something that needs to be patched.

Good thing they only end up with cheap accounts.

But unfortunately, narrow servers like Asia where everybody faces the similar guy day by day, I know this level 140+ hacker that I’m tracking so hard to find an evidence lately.

Kid hackers just spam the whole shots with aimbot, make everyone escape from the matching, and that’s it.

But those real sly TOGGLE hacks are so hard to detect. I just hope

NXA Support still works with Steam profile + Video Recording to ban those fxckers.

It is true that more hackers appearing in the game now. 1 or 2 weeks ago, me, mango and some other pug players, we found an aimbot in a ranked match. Also, me and five0 actually found another hacker in pub day before.

I really dont see much hackers until recent updates. (well, cleary, not talking about the old anti cheat system time, although I still did not meet a lot of hackers)

From my little experience in online gaming, Hackers come in cycles. Fighting to get rid of them is an endless battle. The hackers will always return in some form. they just come in cycles. Bearing their negative impact on the game play has honestly become part of the experience of playing DB. it helps me appreciate the good times a lot more. :slight_smile:

Recently I’ve only seen suspicious players but no blatant script kiddies. I say suspicious players because it feels like their hacking but it can also be a drastic difference in skill. And I’m more willing to bet that its a drastic difference in skill then say they’re script kiddies.

The last couple of days i also experienced a increase of hackers(all easy to spot, aimbot, wallhack etc.) the most annoying one was today one of his high level friend(lvl 30+) and himself were in the same team so no matter what we tried we could not kick him.
Its really frustrating

Gotta say its extremely rare for me to see someone actually hacking. I often see people accusing other people, who I couldn’t possibly understand how they could be hacking (they aren’t even doing well). I get my share of accusations pointed at me as well, and I know for a fact that ones pointed at me are definitely false.

Not to say no one cheats in this game, as that would be a false statement as well, but it happens a lot less than the average player believes it does, simply because there are actually really good players out there. Their skill far surpasses your own to the point where sometimes you might perceive it as cheating when really it isn’t.

That being said, I think its fairly obvious that the devs will continue on supporting their anti-cheat system, why wouldn’t they?

Can we just let this thread die already.

Like many of us already stated in this thread we are mostly talking about BLATANT OBVJOUS HACKS increase, no they arent just good player, no their skill doesnt surpasses our own. their hacks are so obvious you would be blind not to see it

For those instances, it should be clear that the developers are and will continue to update their anti-cheat software, there is no reason not to.

I just don’t like seeing threads like this pop up all the time because it just makes any new visitors feel like they won’t have a good time playing the game because its hackers galore out there. (which it isn’t)

Will they update the anti-cheat? Yes.
Will new hacks find their way through? Yes.
Will they update the anti-cheat again? Yes.
