Will SD be releasing an ETQW demo to the public?

@wils: could we veterans get some own forum? - far away from all the noobs (this is register date 2004 to now), with special rights and support where we can talk about all the important veteran things? that’d be actually overdue

what are these important veteran things?

(Joe999) #22

i asked that myself, especially who’s included in “we veterans” because the question:

sounds rather noobish to me especially as even “noobs” already know the slogan “when it’s done”

(MuffinMan) #23

no chance guys - I won’t tell you, after all you noobs wouldn’t understand it anyway

take a  and don’t :frowning: in a few years you’ll be as well as wise as we vets are! :fluffle:
wow finally an opportunity to use this smiley!

Re: SD forum user special beta test group…

I think we should do it like this, starting from year dot, look at each member, and if
they have over 200 posts (not just spam) and have been active within the last 2 months,
then they should be added to the list…
Each qualifying member can be contacted, and so long as they want to play the pre-release,
and can sign the necessary NDA, they will be put throught to the final pre-release testers list

Once we get to say 100 creditable members, then let the SD forum member elite pre-release
testing begin

Or we can all just wait for the demo

I demand to be included in any and all public and/or private testing activities. In fact, I hereby demand a copy of ET:QW in it’s present state.

(darki) #28

is there still so much time to release first the beta and then a demo? -.-

(NOYB) #29

I demand that development of ET:QW be halted in favor of a game of grab-ass and nude jump-rope.

(Lanz) #30

Sounds like a good idea, at least then we might not get these mundane repetitive questions over an over again.

(Wils) #31

Funnily enough, ETQW started life as a grab-ass and nude jump-rope simulator, in which XP was awarded for asking repetitive questions over and over again.

(NOYB) #32

If there was any doubts that QW would be the best game ever, I think that statement crushes any that may remain.

(MuffinMan) #33

I got another suggestion for improvement: being able to place a dump before the enemies spawn point
