Will different body types have different gun anims?

(Optical_Fibre) #1

Will the 3 body types hold their weapons differently? Will the heavy have less BOB and a light have more BOB?
This would be a nice touch.

What kind of a damn response is this? Lol.

(H0RSE) #6

If you played/understood PC, you would get it.

(LyndonL) #7

No, it’s still not a great response… They were asking if the bob would be different as it would be a nice feature… then Bombaklak told them how to disable bob. Not really what they were asking

(Slade05) #8

He knows better.

(Auzner) #9

The fact that those variables exist means you can write a script to have what you want. And just because you can doesn’t mean it would be useful or desired. As for consoles, no one knows, but chances are you won’t have a choice.

(BomBaKlaK) #10

he ask for Bob ! my awnser it’s about bob !
All players on PC do this ! so !

So witch bob do you wanna talk ? :stuck_out_tongue:

Light bob body type :

Heavy bob one ?

Oh really, did you ask them all or?

(Auzner) #12

And disembodied Bob? http://toastytech.com/guis/bobboot1.gif

(LyndonL) #13

Yeah I don’t do it nor would I… and I consider disabling it as cheating since it’s an unfair advantage… but I guess it’s “comp” to do so… take away all the gameplay features

(Slade05) #14

Then head for console ghetto, problem solved!

(LyndonL) #15

…or play the game as it was intended

(.Chris.) #16

Explain how it is cheating please.

Everyone can disable it, it’s a personal preference, they wouldn’t allow you to alter it otherwise…

(X-Frame) #17

Gotcha. I get the feeling that 95% of the members on this forum are PC players …

(Crytiqal) #18

Offcourse, I even use my PC to get here

(madoule) #19

hehe, well its sorta obvious if the forums are populated by SD maniacs recruited from years serving this exact HC PC gaming community.

(Cankor) #20

How about disabling it because it makes you motion sick? It’s probably important to give evryone the ability to turn it off, console players included.

The good news is Splash Damage (from an old post) seems to realize what types of things in games (mostly single player issue) tend to make players motion sick and I’m guessing they will stay away from them.

Eaxmples of single player games that made me motionsick where I never had a problem in the multi-player: Bad Company 2 (never made it past the part where you run from cabin to cabin in the freezing snow); Half Life Source was really bad, Half life 2 somewhat bad; COD4 scene on the ship was bad. So those are different issues than bob, but like I said, seems like SD knows this and won’t do it to us (plus single player plays exactly like multi-player, so there shouldn’t be any scenes like those anyway).
