actually, it doesn’t, we’re here to test the game, not comment on the politics involved between developer and publisher. We’re lab rats, we don’t get to tell the scientists how to do stuff and what we “deserve” to know

I’d agree with that to some extent but you’re forgetting that most people here paid to be part of the alpha. So really we’re just costumers. We deserve to know wtf is going with the product that we paid for.

if you paid to get in the closed alpha, you’re in. There was no buy in I’m aware of for the Ru version and the question here is about the Ru version. Granted I’d like to know the answer, but by SD not answering right away leads me to believe there are still details of the deal with Destiny that preclude any comment at this time, plus it’s weekend

The question concerns rights to development, where as SD has stated they have “full creative rights” and then there’s this. I’d just like to know what’s going on exactly rather than all the speculation in this thread.

then don’t speculate, at one point everything will be out in the open, until then, we wait. We don’t “deserve” anything, like I said this is developer/publisher stuff, not gameplay/map glitch stuff that we’re here for, I understand the Ru players view, I’d be bloody pissed as well, but it’s obvious they’ve seen this thread and are not in a position to respond, for whatever reason

My eyes bleeding when i read ru DB forums, many newcomers want make another incarnation of CoD/CS, and all they want is slow and realistic game with SnD mode.I understand that CoD and CS is very popular, but make another cheap copy…in soft words…not best solution.

tbh its not as bad as kinjal tries to make it look. game speed is pretty decent, and that 100$ thing posted above is obviously an ingame currency. destiny liked “dirty bomb” more than “extraction” so they’ve left it that way. right now only thing i am worried about - competition and cross country tournaments. we can’t have 2 different versions of the game just because ru teams will eventually have to play against eu teams on either of versions. also you are free to share your concerns with badman @ irc. he is online pretty often and replies to every pm he gets.

Nail I actually agree with you. In the end of a day we just a costumers. So even if I don’t like this entire DD version publisher-developer thing, I will try not arguing with SD then they announce their position about all this. But, I want to know what happened, and why.

  1. I’m not trying to make it look bad. You can ask other people on this forum about DD version, and see that most of my posts here is just facts with minimum opinion.
    Yes I don’t like current situation with DD version, and I have reasons for that. Again you can just check the sources I posted and translate yourself using Google translate.

  2. IMHO - Game menus SS that I posted, is just a pre-look of next EU patch, I doubt that a Browser game developer like a DD can make sum thing like that, it was made by SD. I don’t know anything about monetization system in game, so I will not comment on that.

  3. I asked Anti in irc before creating this thread, but he is silent so far.

We don’t yes, but in my humble opinion the Russian players which bought Xt (EU/NA) alpha and are involved in DB (RU) do deserve to have a straight answer because it is in their interest (esports?) to have a cross-region multiplayer game.

It’s will be unfair if russian guys, who pay moneys, will be not able to test new features in CBT, and after relaese. They pay moneys because they want support SD, and they care about game (like others here).

Reading the RU page it seems like they are having Quake and (some other RU FPS??) pro players guide the development? Otherwise I’m sure you guys can still give feedback on this version and just play the international client with us.

Sucks if they are forced to use a VPN (both now and even more at gold release.) And if they are cornered into using the DD version (and give feedback to int. version,) we will benefit, but RU players will not necessarily.

(SD, you can probably feel it with the wrath from me (and others: ) this divide and conquer strategy you are using (and DD,) are pissing people off!! And I am sorry to be so dramatic but what you and DD is doing here, is pissing on the people that can’t defend themselves (i.e. those who don’t know how to use VPNs.))

Not to mention, (for me) as a member of an international gaming community like TAW, you are dividing people, which means we can’t talk, and thus you disable comprehension and communication. Sure, you are only making games, but as a member of the community, I would say you are not living up to the social responsibilities, that your games previously enabled. This is pure divide and conquer, for the money :frowning:
