and now the only good thing came from bushwhacker is his +10 health and Kek-10/Blish engineer.
meanwhile Proxy gets Lock-On and Hochfir Buff.

Because Nexon hates turrets. You played the Ghosts in the Shell game yet? The turret guy is just terrible; I pity anyone that actually chosen that character as their first.
i thought turret is the tactical thing in the game.
why do Newbi- I mean People hates turret? whyy?
it doesnt make sense!
Nexon doesn’t develop games. They publish them. The GitS team is entirely different than the team that created Dirty Bomb. First Assault Online is made by Neople and Dirty Bomb is made by Splash Damage.
Nexon are not design overlords who have a random hatred if characters that place turrets lol.
As far as Bushwhacker goes, his only issue is that he’s not as easy to play as Proxy on pubs and isn’t as good as Fletcher at the higher end of the competitive spectrum on most maps/areas. He is used in competition though…which is more than I can say for Proxy outside of a couple questionable uses by certain players.

why would the people in competitive use Bush instead of more agile more powerful more loaded with guns mista Fletcha?
i used fletcher once and it feels immoral to kill that easy. Havent used it since…

Most people do use Fletcher which is what I said. But there are some situations/maps where having that turret is quite good. It can act as a 6th man and a warning in a lot of situations when properly used and there are some maps/areas where that works out as good or better than using Fletcher.
Also, Fletcher moves at the same speed as Bushwhacker I believe (correct me if I’m wrong here somebody). Fletcher simply looks more agile because there is no downside to bouncing around throwing stickies as it doesn’t reduce your chances of hitting the person and it drastically increases your TTK as it’s much harder to hit headshots.
Fletcher actually does move at greater speed than Bushwhacker.
Bush is 410, Fletcher is 420.
Weird. I figured it would have been the other way around. Goes to show how much attention I pay to the little details.
Fletcher almost completely relies on his ability to deal damage. Thus the speed increase.
If SD designed Fletcher as an Agent in the first place (instead having magnums and MPs) I think that he might end up not needing his sticky bombs to become godlike grenades, as his health could just have been slightly buffed a bit instead. Oh well.

Fletcher has the Blishlok which is good now and the Ahnuld is also pretty good. And he has pretty good secondary options as well. So he definitely does not need the extra speed compared to Bushwhacker just to make up for gun options.
He doesn’t rely on his ability to do damage. It just happens to be better in some situations than a gun. Which is entirely another debate.
Bushwhacker is the Rhino of Assaults, Aimee of snipers, kira of fire supports, Phoenix of medics, Phantom of “recons”. He is meh in digitized form.
When Fletcher has a shotgun/MP combo, he’s relying on his ability to deal damage.
If all his primaries were magnums and his secondaries are MPs, he wouldn’t need to have his sticky bombs armed instantly so that he can bomb everything to death, because his midrange offense ability would already exist. That way he can use his sticky bombs exclusively as traps.
All Fletcher would need then is better health and speed to make the secondary-only builds work.
Although I would have to say this is not taking the Blishlock into account, but that weapon is the absolute best on Fletcher even though he loses his mad-bomber perks. If Fletcher only used SMGs then he would be a copy of Bushwhacker, with the ability to attack so well that Bushwhacker becomes obsolete.
The only benefits he has over Proxy is better HP and weapons, so if Fletcher isn’t picked, Bushwhacker will be. His ability needs some usability buffs (like say right clicking when holding his turret to roll it across an area). He possibly could use 10 more HP, but I think they might be saving 120 hp for Turtle to have since his ability cannot or doesn’t primarily get him kills unlike Bushwhacker’s.
if bush can slide his turret like in the Scrubs trailer it would be really cool and possibly becoming nearly better than Fletcher.
imagine this scenario
Bush walks outside the C4 Room in first objective underground
he is going to repair the Generator that was previously destroyed
he saw a proxy, sparks and a fragger
bush slide turret to just under the pipe that was leading to top entrance,
he retreated to the shower room and start shooting from yellow room
too occupied by bush proxy went down barraged by the turret,
sparks tried to kill the turret, forcing her to look for it (which gets her to the turret line of sight) gets holed by both turret and Kek-10.
by the time fragger throws grenade bush is long gone

except the bush will be dealing with pro’s not scrubs.
differently worded: that sutiation you describe is so perfect it will never happen.
The sliding turret would also allow him to sort of scout if he slid it into an area and it died immediately, it would be pretty clear enemies were there.
I’ve brought this up a few times before but I’d like Bushwhacker to be able to place his turret easier. Right now you have to have room behind where you are placing it in order to place it. It would be better if you could hit the button once and then rotate it and then hit the button again to place so that you could fit it into areas you wouldn’t normally be able to place it.
It would also be nice to have the option to simply throw it (or slide) so you could deploy a quick crossfire setup that doesn’t require a lot of setup time. That would make him a lot more appealing without really breaking his balance too much.

Or in other words, a cheap, barely useful distraction, or a meat shield.
Why not play Turtle at that point? Turtle would have a dedicated meat shield, and potentially better weapons.

Turret is autonomous and can’t be used by enemies for cover, unlike turtle. Also, the turret is a detection system and can be used, as Amerika said, to crossfire someone so they split their attention and die. Or focus on you but then the turret gets them.
The turret can be used by enemies for cover just like ammo stations.
If it was reduced to a shitty heartbeat sensor crossed with a shitty turtle then I wouldn’t be touching Bushwhacker with a ten foot pole.
