Always you can report them for multi accounts of one guy,if you are certain that they spam dislikes,disagrees or reports.

Almost every merc is “useless” if people resort to cheating - know why? Because they are cheating.

As the game progresses, I am sure further measures for anti-cheat will be put in place, this should some-what help with the potential issue. However, the arguments you pointed out for Red-Eye being “useless” are completely by the fact that they only valid IF people resort to cheating…

The setting that allowed smoke to be removed was limited in the last patch. But a new command was found that you could run from console at the start of the match that did the same thing. However, today’s patch removed that command.

Redeye, and his smoke, will be perfectly fine. And if something else is found then it will be fixed pretty quickly if it messes with the balance of the merc. Unless it’s random fletcher sticky bombs that disappear :slight_smile:

Setting maxparticlevertexmemory to 1 which disables most particles like explosions, muzzle flash, and blood spurts didn’t disable smoke grenades. There are some commands that work in offline mode that don’t work in live games like show levelcoloration which makes all textures flat or togglefluids which gets rid of water. So there are probably some commands that disables smokes that worked in offline mode only. Haven’t found any that worked in a live match but i’ve never tested out killparticles with smokes.

Considering maxparticlevertexmemory 1 removed regular smoke and explosions I would assume it would remove Redeye’s smoke as well (and I’m pretty sure this was confirmed by SD on their forums but I am not 100% certain). And there isn’t a way to travel back and time and test it so it’s hard to say.

But SD is locking down anything that could be viewed as an exploit or just a small advantage in regards to visual settings. So if Redeye or another merc is released and their abilities are countered via settings then it will get locked down.

OP is saying redeye can be bypassed by cheating, what a grand fucking surprise.

regarding the p2w thing:
“some texan shithead” made a video about dirty bomb where he spent 55 bucks on elite cases and then proceeded to complain about the fact that he got 14 silvers and 1 gold. in the same video the game was claimed to be pay-to-win, and “the most freemium shit ever” because all 3 persons involved in the video were seemingly unable to understand how loadouts work.
