Why I'm probably out

(prophett) #61

Kind of troubling to see so many long time supporters of the game so pissed off

(spookify) #62

Its like being on the wrong end of a bad stock deal…

The Mayans were right all along!

What was posted?

(tokamak) #66

Nothing related to the content of the game. Just stuff about media and promotion. Don’t worry, all the meaningful gameplay discussion is happening here and not there.

It is not often i go back on my word but i heard some VERY encouraging words from a couple of the boys last night. I would like to say for the record that, yes I was angry with what had happened behind closed doors in the vip section and it did make me think “f it, i am done”. However, silver and gimp gave a few of us some great insight and gimp even held his hands up and took the blame for overlooking evaczone with recent posts (why we raged hard!)

I am glad we thrashed a few things out. It was very beneficial for us and i am hoping them. I really do not want to walk away from dirty bomb. But after investing so many hours and seeing bad decisions or overlooking happening more often it just became too much. The convo last night brought us back together (<3) and has re energised my desire for this game. I wont commit just yet as I’d like to see what happens in the next few weeks.

I would like to ask people to give one last chance. I know I have changed my tune but i honestly believe after last night that dirty bomb is still going to be a great game with an amazing community. We just need to get the community back on their side.

First off what is Evaczone a blog or something…

Second, great that you got info that the rest of us are privileged to and the few of us that have stuck around can basically guess what was said… We know that SD is going to have some nice updates coming and that there’s huge parts of the game missing so I am assuming those might be filled in for the next few months… I am also sure maps will get better and we will have a polished game in less then a year…

I think was most people were pissed off about was they felt there voices werent heard and SD flipped the game from what we thought we were getting into in the alpha. You even said this yourself…

Now you got some inside info while the remaining 40 people that are still active continue to wait and guess what direction this game is going…

Your words give us hope that what we dream for will happen… Your words give us hope that our feedback is all for not… Your words speak of the game we have all imagined from the beginning and are wishing so badly for… You sir give us hope where hope is not easy to come by.

Potty is such a tease.

mouhhahahahahaha ! and what about the next moves ?

(potty200) #76

Once we see things being put in place, or at least trying to put things in place, I think I will be a lot more active around here again. (Same goes for Sean, Paul and possibly people like wezel/Raste!)

Next moves are to wait and see what happens in the next few months

(potty200) #78

Like I said, I am holding back until I see promises for filled. I am more hopeful NOW apposed to this time last week.

(rookie1) #79

Evaczone got their cookie and community stay in the dark TY
Now we will have to wait from another source to get the full picture

I haven’t a clue what’s been going on but, just to say, it’s always refreshing to see someone going back on something they’ve said, either through realising they were wrong, or through having an adult conversation and resolving it through listening and discussion. far too many entrenched and inflexible positions on forums so, kudos for that … +1
