Sprint away from enemy to recover…oops accidentally start climbing wall, shot in the butt.
The possibilities are endless.
A la CoD climb animation in the middle of firefight, exept this happens EVERYWHERE!

what? u can’t be serious. following your example:
a) who’d run away from an enemy to recover, turning his back? either you get in that firefight OR u duck, fire and retreat BUT u don’t turn around and start running… at least not in FPS games (u are the über-pwning BLOPS dude from the other thread, aren’t you?)
b) you start ACCIDENTLY climbing a wall??? that’d mean you were running INTO a wall. WHO would do THAT?
c) its been repeatedly mentioned, that all movement (animation) can be stopped anytime by releasing the SMART button and if your character has a free hand you can still fire
d) seriously, please revise the SMART videos before continuing this thread, no offense, but you’ve gotten it all wrong:
Even if you go into these moves mistakenly, unlike most other games, you can still shoot and aim as normal for the duration of the move. Your gun-play is uninterrupted.
You can also cancel easily out of mantles - you aren’t forced to “complete” them.
Vaults tend to be so quick that cancelling out isn’t really necessary.
What is fantastically awsome is that i actually do have time for stupid questions right now!
First off, yeas i am that awsome blops dude. Please, no applause.
a) There are so many instances in fps shooters when you need to get out of sight quickly. I do not recommend rushing blindly towards the enemy ever! Learn to sprint around corners, take cover behind crates or rush in between alleyways. Playing an fps game once or twice will help you get to this realization.
b)Obviously im talking about “getting caught” in the animation area rather than sprinting towards a wall for 10 seconds. Ok to do list now: play an online shooter, train reading comprehension.
c)By the time you’ve released the smart button your opponent will have killed you, gibbed you, made french toast and invited the neighbour to pet his goldfish. Unless he’s a Bad company 2 player in which case he’ll stilll be trying to find a camping spot so he can line his aim up for another 6 seconds.
d) Now why don’t you use your SMARTs (see what i did thaarr) and accept that this is a very valid concern.
You can break animations in most games. By jumping off a ladder, by sprinting etc…The problem is getting into animations involontarily. Which is bound to happen if you use the sprint for anything else than sprint.
Ok, so i said /thread right?
That means this is for education porposes only. Read, and thank me.
And learn to love me.
Do you spinrt while looking upwards? If yes then I can see how SMART may cause you problems when running at walls.
Ok so as long as i dont look up while near any surface i should be fine sprinting. Gotcha.
You seem to be under the impression that SMART is always on. You still have to press a button before it becomes activated.

All that remains is over 9000 upside down words. Only on Caturday?
I’ve found my personal beloved troll, I’m so happy!
Blops? Fast? Do you see the paradox here?
Well /thread and /you on the same time I guess, I dont have time with surboosted ego trip lately!
Peace
There are no canned animations… even if you do somehow vault into a SMART movement, it can be cancelled instantly. But tbh, if I was running away to recover (tho you somehow mention running to a wall to recover while staying in full view of the enemy?) I would probably want to slide to safety to make myself less of a target.
And no blops isn’t fast, it’s sporadic and random and the crap spawns give the impression that the enemy are everywhere.
oh my cock!
before you strike back with your might of wisdom please read.
this time i’ll do it vice versa:
d) please watch those movies. the sprint/smart button will not get you anywhere, unless you tell it to do so. if you do however choose to run into a wall with your mouse/head turned to the sky, it may start to move you over the wall or you will bounce into the wall. that’s no smart-button issue. its an issue that e.g. you do not know the map, got lost…
c) you were giving the example of the CoD animation, i told this issue is not existent in BRink. what do you want me to do, sir? i can’t tell you lies to relieve your fears. it may be the case (as it would be in CoD), that
By the time you’ve released the smart button your opponent will have killed you, gibbed you, made french toast and invited the neighbour to pet his goldfish.
but the likelihood of the french-toast-story is less than it would be in CoD, don’t your agree?
b) animation area? again the dawn of smart video explains the mechanics. there is nothing of that sort, so IMO no reason to give me an to-do-list. (now that i’ve put it that way it sounds twice as ridiculous!)
a) well i have played FPS quite a few years now. i guess i will continue to do so. recently i’m quite hooked on rise of the tryad. however i do not have gotten around using mouse aim yet. maybe next month,… okay that’s seems like enough content-less bull**** to counter your a).
now, seriously. i would love to learn to love you but remember: you gotta be polite to ****
best regards
How do you define a good player? Someone that can kill lots of people? If so, I fail to see how that will change their killing ability. They will continue to do so normally.
Also, as someone mentioned early. SMART isn’t always on. You have to activate it on key_down.
So much anger. Please keep my thread civil.
DarkangelUK: Why are you making up a scenario and claiming its mine? Selective reading does not help you. I am trying to let you guys know in advance, so you can say when the complaint threeads come raining in that Gunzo already knew this and recommended that you turn it off.
Thats how nice i am.

Oh, well that clears a lot up. I read just about everyonewhere on this forum that it’s the sprint key. Thanks!
It is? Then which button is used for sprinting? I thought that the sprint button is used for manual tricks and a separate smart button was used for automatic pilot.
