Why double-time is useless to me

Use all of your bullets in primary, then use your secondary
Now either one is dead or yall are still fighting
Find cover and reload, and fight again

Most situations for me, so ive gotten accustomed to reloading in a safe space, i forget i even have double time…

It’s really not useless though. It allows you to be a lot more mobile than you could otherwise be. On medics who need to constantly move across the map, it’s absolutely godly. And the faster you can move, the more its benefits show.
Hell, even when you’re not a medic or a fast merc, better to be able to reload on your way to something than to have to slow down to reload.

Idk why everyone always hates on double time when they just haven’t gotten used to how to get the most out of it. There are definitely worse perks.

I actually use it on Sparps and Kira a lot. You’re able to run and move position quickly after a firefight and you’ll be more prepared where you want to be.

I love double time. It completely changes my playstyle and I’m far more aggressive with a double time load out. It’s definitely one of my favorite perks because it can actually change playstyle unlike most of the other ones which aren’t noticeable in-game.

Yeah but many people dont play like that. I see where the while mobility idea, but me (and other people such as friends) completely forget they have the augment. I would really wanna see a rework for it.

With smaller mercs i get lt, but even then i use my melee to bring out the fastest in me, when i encounter an enemy i either pick off or disengage, stay behind cover and reload. And with drilled it helps that playstyle

One day you might realize that just because you don’t like oruse a game’s feature the devs don’t have to cater to your individual playstyle. There are a lot of augments I don’t care about but I don’t go around pestering developers to change them until I am the only person who’s happy with the game. There’s something for everybody.

Except for Pineapple Juggler.

Depends on the merc for me. The A31’s Double Time is super useful, considering how often you spend running around as Fletcher, but for someone like Nader it’s usefulness doesn’t come into play very often. One thing I really dislike about Double Time in particular is how you can’t reload cancel. Since my Cobalt Kira has the Double Time with the BR-16’s ridiculous reload time, I actually have to quickly switch to my secondary and then back to my primary to cut down on the reload time for it. I can see myself getting carpal tunnel doing that, lol.
TL;DR, if the reload time takes too long, I probably won’t use the card.

Multiple is not everybody.
If you dont use it its fine, but dont bother other people who used it.
I like double time because it allows me to attack, retreat, attack faster with mercs like Aura or the Skyhammer mechanic card.
Especially with the reload cancel reload option its pretty useable right now

Wait is there another way to reload cancel with Double Time? Like I said, I just swap to my secondary then back to my primary really quick.

I think there is optiom in menu where reload cancel reload
Most of the time if i got caught while reloading double time i just shoot straight away or finish the reload by dodging shots with sprint right and then sprint left

Maybe something like slight increase in speed after a kill, or something like that, I think it would be an interesting augment idea, or maybe make that idea a new augment

Double time with fletcher, yes i agree, running around while reloading (id mostly use it on anhuald if i remember i have the augment)
