My favorite Merc too…
You still had nearly zero chances to get the Proxy. The card you get from a case is predetermined and the spinning animation is just a placebo.
lol day before the fine tuning update I got a Phantom Cobalt from a reg case and bought Phantom. If only I knew he’d be over-nerfed lol. My luck = The worst. I’ve even opened 100+ CS:GO cases (Spent over $200) and only gotten 1 red and 2 pinks. Rest were blue/purple. The red was a Battle-Scarred AWP | Hyper Beast ($30… so cheap asf) and the pinks weren’t even worth a key. I even have gone into csgo betting pots and have never won once. My luck is literally so bad lol.
I’ve pulled some decent stuff from cases. A few silvers a gold and a loaf of bronze. Yesterday I bought a fee cases and got nothing but then won a starter pack on a stream lol, my luck is rather good!
Just press skip, your loadout is determined before the wheel stops spinning. Skipping will remove any heartache or stress you may feel
2 gold 2 silver and a lot of bronze from regular cases. my strategy is waiting for 100 case and skip fast.
if u sit and watch the whole spinning round thing and not press skip that BS after seeing it for like the 5th time it might mean ur a gambling addict and so should seek help
That’s… nonsense. I like watching the animation. I don’t gamble. Never have. Won’t even play the lottery.

Ignore BooKz, he’s always like that.
can u imagine a much i jump and scream when i got Cobalt Arty from a normal case? i didnt even care that the loudout sucked XD
and i got 2 golds and allot of silver but i probably open more than 400 by now, never buy a case tho
I had 2 cases yesterday with the deployable bundle and got silvers then I won a key for the starter pack and got two silvers…both the same loudout for vasili to
150h in and no bronze so far but 5 silver from regular cases xD
After the third time i started to skip the spin animation, its bs anyway. I kinda agree with RuelofBookz, if you are that into the spinning animation eventhough the result is predetermined you might need to rethink what you are doing.
I think gambling needs to be done while being concious of it and in control of ones own behaviour.
With how RNG systems get more and more prominent in online games its really dangerous for some people (aka spending thousands of $ until broke)

Except I haven’t spent a penny on this game. Hell, I haven’t even spent credits on cases. It doesn’t stop me enjoying the animation. Quite frankly, if you’re a gambling addict and you’re using this game to scratch the itch, it is not the addiction you need help with; it is your shocking lack of creativity. We really don’t need to turn this thread into a “just say no” campaign for cases.
Your concern is… theoretically… touching, but there’s nothing to see here. Move along.
Yeah, the animation isn’t representative of what you’re getting. I always just click skip since you were going to get what you got regardless of what the animation says or how close it looks like you almost got something else. Also, I save up cases in-between mercs so when I open all of them I have a tiny shot at getting a card for them and if not I have a ton of cards I can trade-up that I didn’t use earlier to get a Gold or Cobalt for another class
Also, opening that many without hitting skip (usually between 60-100) would take forever.
But I can definitely see the appeal in watching the animation and won’t fault people for having fun with it.
Always watch animation. Just because i like it and generally open cases when i need something, like a couple of lead cards for tradeup or theres like 5 minutes left till missions refresh.
