So L4D needs 2 full teams but Brink doesn’t?
You my friend, are a jackass.
i’m not your friend.
and yes, l4d depends more on full human teams because
a) a game consists of a maximum of 8 human players, every non human player sticks out like a sore thumb (surviver bots, stop walking because they can’t decide to follow a player out of the window or another player down the stairs, resulting in complete team deaths. infected bots tend to attack on their own, making it almost impossible to stop the survivors in time, because the infected team is one man short 80% of the map)
b) a full versus campaign takes way more than an hour with two similar skilled teams, which leads to people quiting during a map. if you start l4d with 6 people chances are that the game will never be full of 8 people. resulting in an unfair and unsatisfying match.
c) l4d versus is ment to be played from beginning to end (therefore you get a ‘you win’ or ‘you lose’ message after the end of a finale), brink isn’t, you can join every map at every moment, waiting at most 15 minutes to play the next map from the beginning (pro tip: like most online shooter do, therefore a lobby in online fps is a waste…)
d) if you have a bot in your survivor team and someone joins the server to become a survivor, it happens most of the time that the bot will stand still for 15-30 sec until the player will finaly enter the game, which again results in one hit kills or even team death.
you see, i know why i think l4d needs a lobby and brink doesn’t, do you know why you called me a jackass you imbecile? :stroggbanana:
