Pretty much the topic. If you can only use the sniper rifle or the sten, isn’t it pretty obvious that you’re a covert op? If people hear the sound of sten, then they will start to get cautious. Maybe we should allow the covert ops to use whatever weapon that is allowed for the class he has disguised himself as.
Why can't Covert Ops pick up weapons other than Sten or Snip

That’s the point though, the gun will give him away when disguised. And if he had a thompson/mp40 he still wouldn’t be able to fire it without losing his uniform.

I had a somehow similar idea, CovOps should be able to pick up any weapon and run around with it but are unable to fire that weapon!. The picked-up enemy weapon should replace the Weaponbank 2 weapon.
Than you can choose between 2 approaches: Do I pick up his weapon, loose my pistol and are pretty helpless if shoot at while running around with a weapon I cant use (switching to weaponbank 3 takes some time) but am more likely to remain undetected or do I play as usual, running around with a Sten or to better meatl into my role with a unsilenced pistol ?
