I’m talking faces, voices, scars, and Tattoos. But why are they permanent? even in real life they’re no longer permanent. Not to mention that when the game first came out it was so buggy i couldn’t even HEAR the voices listed. Then after getting my Main guy to 16 or so it bugged again when hitting cancelling out of tattoo options. Also it would be nice for when they add new content so that way i wouldn’t have to create some one new.
Why are there Permanent Character options?
Tatoos are permanent and so are scars. Who can afford laser, cosmetic surgery on the Ark?
Is the bug with the changing voices already fixed?
It would be nice to have an option to change your voice again. Since some users have pointed out they had problems with it…

i theorize that you have to make sure all of your characters load fully in the loading screen before selecting your character. So if you have 5 characters, make sure all of them load before you choose your dude. I have noticed that this fixes the voice problem. see if it works for you.
i’m debating just deleting him and starting over. It’s a video game where supposedly we will be getting new options as DLC, so having permanent options just seems like a bad idea.
I don’t like reading a lot of Brink bashing, but some times you really, really reach out for straws while trying to defend this game. You don’t have to defend every single thing about it, you know.
It’s something I’ve noticed since I read thread numero uno on this forum. I wanted to point it out in this thread since it’s not a very good thread. Defending the game is fine, but blindly defending it only discredits those of us that try to justifiably defend it when it comes under scrutiny.
Like I said, I don’t think he was defending anything. Looked to me like he was making a joke of the situation.
He’s got Brink’s brown leakage all over his nose and this is coming from someone that likes Brink. Seeing someone blindly defend it in every thread like there’s nothing wrong with it is just as bad as seeing someone flame it in every thread.
edit: reason being, it kills discussion. Saying something is black or white, etc

Perhaps what you view as “blindly defending” is not the same to them. Did you ever consider that whatever you deem as flaws in the game, can be seen as not flaws to others, or at least not glaring enough to fuss over? I have played with Wolf and talked with him. He knows the game isn’t perfect, but he doesn’t let it ruin his fun, like most people who enjoy the game.
I don’t think he blindly defends the game, but rather just tries to point out that the problems people seem to have with the game, aren’t as bad as some of them make them out to be, and that the game doesn’t deserve half as much bashing as it gets.
sigh, I get it, you guys are xbox live buddies and you’re gonna stick up for him. I haven’t talked to anyone on this forum and I guarantee 99.9999% are sick of wolfnemesis blindly defending brink every other post in every single thread. It gets pretty boring. His kiss ass attitude is what’s going to run me off the forum before any flaming of Brink. I like Brink, feel dirty by association, and his Brink-can-do-no-harm/SD-can-and-never-will-do-anything-wrong posting just reads like a boring gimmick now.
I’m sticking up for him, but not because we’re “xbox live buddies.” Regardless if we are friends or not, if I thought he was wrong, I’d call him out on it.

I remember them delaying this game for a FULL year for “polishing”.
Would have expected a fairly polished game after that. Even more so, when they release it a week earlier by then.
To then see the most obvious and noticible bugs on release day (for example 2 maps without sound?!) really pisses some people off.
So maybe thats why this game gets bashed some more then other games.
Also because the gameplay is nothing like W:ET which they promoted it with.
BRINK could still be the best ctf there ever was…
tooltip for “sliding” is, “pressing (your bound keys) is a great way to avoid enemy fire”… I LOVE avoiding fire, especially while trying to capture the flag! completing an obj in brink is an ENEMY FIRE MAGNET!
edit: I just realized this post has nothing to do with the thread topic… scuse me
As opposed to instant body type technology which you can get freely from any vending machine on the Ark
