Why are there Permanent Character options?

I think the majority of players would prefer if the caracther changes here not permanent.
If its itended to be pseudo realistic then how come i´m bold then i have hair 5 seconds later lol.

sigh, I get it, you guys are xbox live buddies and you’re gonna stick up for him. I haven’t talked to anyone on this forum and I guarantee 99.9999% are sick of wolfnemesis blindly defending brink every other post in every single thread. It gets pretty boring. His kiss ass attitude is what’s going to run me off the forum before any flaming of Brink. I like Brink, feel dirty by association, and his Brink-can-do-no-harm/SD-can-and-never-will-do-anything-wrong posting just reads like a boring gimmick now.

I’m sticking up for him, but not because we’re “xbox live buddies.” Regardless if we are friends or not, if I thought he was wrong, I’d call him out on it.

I think he’s just being optemistic and upbeat. In this thread he’s just joking as far as I can tell. I think “blindly defending” is reading too much into it.

I don’t mind the scars and tatts being permanent. They could be non-permanent and it probably wouldn’t make much of a difference to me. Although it does bring a bit of “RPG” to the game by making you create a base character. You can change his clothing but the character underneath is the same.
