If they don’t want to win, then what about giving them the impression to get more credits by being useful ?
Especially during the recent months, I feel like there’s massive hordes of headless players just doing what they want. Which is critical, because they’re generally the first one not having fun because they’re losing. And those impair the quality of any game, no matter they’re 4 or 1 in each team.
So I really start to consider that some x% of your credit earning should be personal and linked on how you behaved during the game. I really don’t mind a giving a credit bonus to anyone selecting a utility class which is lacking at the time and then sticks to it.
One other factor, which is partially mentioned by @sweetColumn, is the merc miss-use which is definitely a problem. Playing sniper from very far is probably one of the best example. Even aimee, vas and red eye are not suited to be useful by just picking random kills across the map. No merc is in this game. And there’s nothing else than proper specific class tutorials that could prevent this from happening. And those won’t be played because they’re too boring.
