yeah, that really sucks, weird that a server w/their standing would shut down w/no warning and no real reason given, if the issue is money and/or time involved to admin I’m sure that more than a few of the players there would be willing to step up to the plate. If not then it’s the end of an era for sure.

Is that why i couldn’t play on their server for some months now? I thought that was the best et server because it used etpub, no weird mods, lots of different maps, and was just plain fun. So far, I have not found one server that can match that.

Our sponsor pulled our site after being hacked again, too bad some idiots can ruin things this way. We had a good run for 7 years

host is no problem, sponsor paying for it is. 4players.de gave us web site, ftp server (hosted over 1.5 million downloads of W:ET) and 3 game servers. They haven’t completely given up but as I don’t speak German, negotiations are difficult
