Who's in from day one?

(PsYcHo) #41

I’ve preordered @ thehut (pc version) already!

(Slade05) #42

I`m in too.

(.Chris.) #43

Same as apples but I dunno, £30 isn’t that much, I guess if they confirm that there will be an SDK released I’ll just buy it anyway.

(DarkangelUK) #44

£30! You need to shop around m8.

(madoule) #45

59! i’m still countin’!

(SockDog) #46

SDK confirmation would actually be nice around now.

Brink DVD will install/check for Steam and then install Brink. Both ways activate it on Steam. Some like having game boxes as trophies. I’ve yet to get 100 Mbit internet so I prefer DVD/ISO for installs. I think fiber to a majority of people is a long ways off. And even when it happens they’ll still be very stingy about uploading and server hosting.

lol, in Canada after a couple of years touting their extra cost “ultra high-speed” service as the way to download lots in no time, these same ISPs now want to charge people by usage. Fortunately for now, the government has said no. 100 Mb is possible but I think the ISPs want to bank alot of money before they even think of investing any of their own to push fiber further
I’d rather my money worked for me rather than some corporation, so I won’t pre-order
I’ve only pre-ordered twice, ETQW and BC2, in both cases I wasn’t charged until it was released. Plus, it’s a credit card, so I’m not paying for another 20 days after I get it anyway.

Note, in both cases I went and picked it up on release day. I pre-ordered ETQW and got the limited collectors edition (still have the cards in shrink wrap). I pre-ordered BC2 for some special I can’t remember what it was now, I think maybe a sale.

(Seyu) #50

I’ll be getting it from a store on launch day.

(madoule) #51

don’t get me wrong. i’m a collector too. nevertheless steam has its pros…
