Who's in from day one?

(madoule) #1

do me the favor, dear forum members, by a show of hands, and tell me who pre-ordered, who will pre-order and who is going to get the game on day one in a store…

additionally feel free to give you steam ID, so we all CAN, not necessarily HAVE TO hook up on the may 20th…

I will be playing from day one on the Xbox 360 with a bunch of my friends, gonna be great ^^

(Spaiker) #3

Day oner thrue Steam. Gonna stay home from school :o

(abrain) #4

Got brink in pre-order for xbox and will get the pc version in store on release.
(and later on for the ps3 just for the fun of it)

(SockDog) #5

Got it with the 20% off D2D offer posted here but I guess that’s the same as Steam.

Region: [USA]

Definitely. But I might not get mine DAY ONE as it’s ordered both through amazon.com and walmart.com (one for me one for a friend. Both codes are mine) So unless ONE of those shows up on release day I’ll have to buy it at gamestop and return one of those mail order copies when they are received at that said gamestop with the receipt.

DAY ONE for sure, been waiting for months now. MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHS.

(Auzner) #8

Amazon prime should have it here on release day. I preordered when an official release date was given.

(tokamak) #9

I see no value in pre-ordering.

(Auzner) #10

You know all about the game but don’t like it enough to buy it on the first day?

(trigg3r) #11

im gonna preorder through steam next month probably

well, you get some cool exclusive weapons with the preorder

(murka) #12

Can’t decide without demo.

(SockDog) #13

I got it on D2D at 20% off. That’s a clear $10 value.

I’m actually surprised by the familiar names holding back. I’m a kind of ‘once bitten, twice shy’ kind of guy and SD has yet to screw me over. What exactly do you think they could have done that wrong in order to convince you not to buy it? I mean I have major reservations about XP, perks and a ton of other stuff but I’m not seeing it as major enough to think it’ll really spoil my fun. I’m in, Day One!

(tokamak) #14

As I said…

I will. I will take my bike to the store. Just like with any game I want on the release date. So far that’s been ETQW, SC2 and WoW.

I can use my experience of other SD games, go by what i’ve seen and place my faith in the company themselves to know that I will enjoy the game… no need for a demo for me.

(it also helps that i’ve played it as well… but I still would’ve bought it if I hadn’t)

(Auzner) #17

In my area doing that usually means it sells out. But this is Brink, not SC2. Also with Amazon I get free shipping, release day delivery and no tax which makes it the lowest price for me to acquire a retail box and disc for my eventual box-shrine.

The preview videos are the demos. How can you guys have over a 1000 posts on this forum and no confidence in Brink? Why waste your time here then?

(Iur'Tae'Mont) #18

Preordered from Gamestop the day I bought my 360.

(SK7109) #19

Preordered on Steam Sep 10, 2010
Iam in

Will buy hard copy collector edition when it comes out to 8)

Haven’t pre-ordered yet but will. I don’t care what pre-order package it is, will get it from the most convenient / cheapest. Would have done the D2D thing but for some reason I still like having a box and DVD (plus I wasn’t convinced they won’t actually charge you more when they actually bill you since the code said not applicable to pre-orders).
