When at their peaks (pub experience only):

Infantry: BrontozawR, Rufio, Samurai, Crakean, Asset (whose singing is sorely missed indeed).

All-round: Tanzverbot, 100dm, M1rra, Dommafia.

Plenty others worth of mention (oh, all right, I’ll give Apoc and his unreal point blank sniping skillz some love too), I’m just trying to keep it short.

Which one of these players does not belong:

ras has an etqw wcg gold medal and therefore wins by default, aka barely beats out chump.

slotz was terrible. he played in 1.2 vanilla and used a dotted screen to tank in 3rd person. the mind is the first thing to go apparently…

Mmh, Bjorn, Reload, Crakean and rglaf I’ve never been able to kill more than a couple of times in 1v1s, they are silly good.
I recall Tommy being a good pilot, although that might have to do with the fact that he kicked me out of the dogfighting tournament in the quarter finals :tongue:

For NA, I’ve seen awesome play by Chump, Ras, Rowdy, BMXer and a whole range of other people I can’t remember the names off. Thanks to ET.tv :slight_smile:

gosh yeah, i totally forgot tommy, he was a good player indeed, there were many good players on both sides to be remembered. thx to this thread i started remembering some names e.g., crakean,feruto, nearly all the sGs guys and LAW guys were awesome players, tanz and 100dm used to rape my servers hehe when they used to play together all the time, bfunk was good too, there was this clan called DS I think it was, they were really good players also. Sentiment ftw.

Bmx´s posts made me smile, all the “lan-proven” talk made me remember the old forums and all the witch-hunting against racoon he did. hehe. good old times, i still miss the old forums. :frowning: compared to all the threads and topics and dissing there, its kinda dull and dead here.

There was, Dead Snipers, a Russian clan. They rolled with players like Ekke, Monk, Elka and Kinjal (Kinjal’s youtube), all very competent infantry players.

I’m pretty sure Chump is the only notable player who still plays consistently in NA. He loves this game to death, or just likes wearing his crown as the eternal king of QW :wink:.

Almost forgot this thread needed a shoutout to my old mate rAGERx who was the best shotgunner in all of ETQW (Euro/NA). Guy had 55% accuracy on nail/shotty and would 2 shot you errry day from across the map. *Remembers 1v6 man shotty streak on f8 and lols…

Oh snap. The nostalgia in this thread is unreal, especially when Inferno dropped “StrawberryHippo” - jeez. There are so many players I could mention.

Creed, Thomas, rglaf, RELOAd, Chump, 3D, puddeh and BJORN are names that come to mind in terms of aim and infantry.

StrawberryHippo, pliXs, Dranzer, Huggos, slotz and TreeFrog are names that spring up when thinking about who was good at handling heavies.

POKEMANS, FrankSinatra, DOMMAFIA and darkman are all players who were great in-game leaders.
