To be a great aimer one MUST play competitive, which I never did. But we Don at least owned the custom maps with our films 
Guys, don’t forget Dommafia and what the crazy stuff he was doing on pubs. He was almost impossible to kill and fragged gazillion of people in each game, plus he was an excellent teamplayer. Dunno if Dom played comp much tho. I guess he did.

Dom and Chump for flier whores, if you remember the dog fight tourneys. I think that included the better euros too. One of the only vehicle events that I found pretty exciting. Surely dranzer for tanking overall, though strawberryhippo was amazing on NA.
never seen strawberryhippo so dunno and for dranzer, well tbh I didnt really think he was that awesome lol. i really liked pliXs´s tanking though, maybe it was just his style I admired, dunno. I hate all vehicles and cant use them, but it was always awesome and admirable watching him, he made it look so easy.

well if we re speaking of nowadays players that are active then i d go for hmmh…
na side: chump, deathkamp, fencing, hydrium (although all 4 are not that active anymore, but still around here and there)
euro side: this is hard coz i havent played on euro servers much in the past 2 years but i´d go for samurai, apoc, shadowtolight and deathwish (think thats his name or dthwish or something)

Yay! I feel special! :3 It’s Dthwsh. , but im called Deathwish, Deathy, Dth, Dthy. All the times i’ve seen me mentioned somewhere, no-one’s spelled my name correctly 
Although not the best I think it is important to remember M4ximus, I think he was in the top 4 NA shooters alongside Chump, MechanicaL & Nehtor.
As for tankers, and LAN proven ones at that… pliXs was pretty beast at Quakecon. But overall, huggos was the best LAN proven tanker in the history of ETQW.
And yea, Dranzer was a beast too. I don’t think 4Kings ever attended a LAN events… but we always enjoyed waited for him to pray between rounds in scrims ;).
And if we are gonna talk about NA tankers, you pretty much can’t leave out old Slotz from HK. Like his style or not, he pretty much invented the aggressive desi play. No one could touch him for the first few season in NA comp. Everyone pretty much figured out the tanker deal and he got wrecked after a while but if you are gonna bring up random, unprovens like strawberryhippo you sure can’t leave out old slotz! At least slotz played comp!
Sure Dom was a beast in the air… everyone knows that. But when fliers were used in comp, bjorn was pretty decent. I remember watching him fly while standing behind him at qcon. But tbh, Dep was the best LAN proven competitive flyer. He totally carried on the outdoor parts at qcon 08 for H20. No one could touch him. I hear he was beast in 07 as well.

i was too noob to notice anybody back then of godly importance cept dr.funkenstein, who might not be the best shot but he is my personal favorite because he always kills me and was very nice when i threw that accidental violator on the exclamation. i still remember all those years ago his first words ever spoken to me like it was this morning’s hangover. “what was the purpose of that violator?”, my reply, “it was an accident”. he topped it off and tied everything together so warmly, “well at least you admit it.”

Think mentioned this before but might have been to someone else, there were other LANs besides Quakecon, they attended CDC4, them and Komacrew were the only two teams who were nice to meet in person, the rest were super serious douches with no sense of humor.

My AllStars team for a 6on6 with top euro would be Samuraï+ShadowToLight+.xeR+rUBBEN+Celebrian+Crytical.
I don’t know for NA but Axter and Chump are pretty good, I heard that Nefilav was pro with flyers but last time I saw him Tanzverbot was really better.
I pro pubbed and scrimmed against a few euro teams but not that much… From what I saw bjorn, aA and crakean were generally doing really well.
As for best NA shot I’d say Chump or diseasee, but some notable mentions michael3d, v1d, hollywood, mechanical, nehtor, fireborn, deathmaker, aristotle, ras, coon, l4nce, chios, weapuh, red, poppin, pipboy… Also VtmN and Hardup in I think tgl 4 vs. 4 and prior, at the time I thought those two were two of our best shots, afterwards they kind of lost their touch VtmN played less and hardup picked up quake live. As far as sniper probably dis. or raptor, I guess sub6 was alright right before he quit. Then rocketeer I’d probably say snipersteve, sharp or treefrog, don’t think they really played rocket launcher when they were playing serious but I remember in scrims they’d be tagging my team with long range shots better than anyone else I can think of at the moment. I liked redbarron’s and aclipsa’s tanking, though I think NA tanking was really weak compared to EU tanking and the only really consistent tankers throughout the seasons were bmxer and chump. Best flyer I was SoulVoid if he was in a tormentor if not dommafia or papab. Best all around players probably dom, hollywood, chump or bmxer. Then I guess after the competitive scene died inferno, hardcore, fencing, riddicki all did fairly well at pub stomping.
